Real Friends - NEW ALBUM "Composure" revealed to hometown fans first

We had a small amount of fans RSVP to three acoustic shows on June 15th, 2018. Instead of playing acoustic sets we surprised them by announcing our new record, Composure, AND played the entire record for them. Wow, what a great day.

I was at the “acoustic show” in downers grove and honestly most people weren’t upset. We got to talk to the band a bunch and give them hugs and hear the new album (which is KILLER btw)

Not trying to be rude, but that must have been a disappointment for fans making it to the show. When i go to a show, it's to watch their set, maybe say hi and that's it. When you're in the mood for a show and that the band comes out and say : Oh, sorry guys, no show today, you simply get to eat cupcakes and hear our new songs in cheap speakers (which you'll be able to listen in a month, anyway). I know they're trying to be original, but if you want people to get to hear your new album before everbyody else and not play a show, just announce a listening party and that's it.
