We found the guy who thinks about the Roman Empire the most
Those figs are looking pretty dope. Nice detail, decent paint jobs, and accessories aren’t too shabby. The “Mohawks” on top of the Spartan and Greek helmets are called plumes. They showed rank and at the same time , made the troops look taller and intimidating to opposing forces. Also, helped to prevent “friendly fire” on the battlefield. Looks like the main down side of these would be the articulation. Thanks & ☮️

I love the look of these. I'm not as interested in them as some of the previous figures, but they're cool. I'm looking forward to getting the minotaur guy. What Xesray needs to do is make more of the ladies. I only preordered one of them, to check out. By the time I got her and went back to get the others, they were sold out.
These are awesome i wish we had a Conan that scaled better with them though (or vice versa) for a black dragon vibe
I feel like the Mezco Conan could work but it’s definitely on the small side for them.

But since Conan is supposed to be a big beast it would be nice if he was a little bit bigger than them

Marcus is the centurion, the officer in charge.
The Shuffel they had to shuffele out the trenches and deep pooholes too, every evening they had to build new ones in War, when they were on thier way. The Spear is called Pilum, the Sword is Called Gladius and some Armors they wore on they´re Torso, was called Sternum.
Hopefully for the final product, until 2024, these Roman soldiers, must have more in them(articulation)and their helmet needs and open and close hinges, needs more work , if changes made?🤔
I’m not sure how many changes will be made but they did say they are not quite finished
They need to incorporate some soft goods into this line - make them "deluxe" figures. It would definitely improve the articulation. Also, softer plastic on the accessories would help. Either way, I do like this line and hope to get these in my collection soon.
I think they went for the accuracy portion over everything else, they look good. I hope they make many buyers happy. Now, I can't wait for the minotaur review haha I want to get one of them 🤞Just saying, I could have taken a few more size comparisons, I love when you do more but all good. It's all time consuming

The Centurion with the red chrest it s the leader , not Aulus , that s the Signifer in the legion roman army
Great figure the helmet with the Mohawk going sideways is the leader so you have 2 leaders not the one you said was the leader. They are called Praetorian Guard they are The Emperor's ( Julius Caesar) Bodyguards. Great Video.

Does the crest of the centurion's helmet rotate? I get that the way they have it is accurate, but I always thought the other direction looked way cooler. Great review!
Crested guy has a scale mail armour.
The guy with the crest is a centurion, he would have been in command of a century which is 80 men and there were about 60 in a legion, (why do I know this stuff???)
Are they about 7 inches tall? I’m thinking about buying them to go with a Super7 Conan 🤔

These strike me as the kind of figures that appeal to the Marvel Select crowd: willing to deal with limited articulation in exchange for fantastic aesthetics. Personally? I don’t fall into that crowd myself (articulation is king IMO), so these would be an easy pass for me whereas I could see somebody else going nuts over the sculpting detail. Very excited to see you take a look at that Minotaur by the way!
