The PowerPint looks fantastic with size and tools befitting my needs. I love that SOG puts a lockback on the tools, unlike the liner-lock on Leatherman's. This may as well be the one I look forward to the most for this year.
I found out that opening multiple of the tools with the lock tightly closed can snap the lock, and if you didn't buy it from a SOG approved vendor there's no warranty for that. That's my tip. Don't open the side tools while the latch is locked. Next tip is if you want the smelly grease that comes in it, with the benzene warning, off of it, bake at 500F and then lube it with something better and less toxic before it gets cold and rusts.
Looks promising, especially in its format 👍 I prefer the basic model without the corkscrew, scissors are way more important. In the next evolutions modify the spring of the scissors so they can open fully for sharpening on a little rectangular stone (like old DC4 6000 grit). Overall really cool model, high potential. 🇮🇹
Hm, I just bought the q4 (love it btw), thought I would be done buying multitools for a bit, idk how this power pint didn’t pop up on my radar sooner. Sog is bringin the heat this year
Where are these made? I have a SOG Powerplier and a Powerlock and think they're the best multitools out, better than Leatherman for sure, but when I bought them they were made in the US. They don't seem to say "US Made" any more, it would be a shame if these were Chinese made now.
Like you guys I’m excited for this product BUT it’s taking them absolutely forever to release it. They don’t hurry up, I’ll be owning another Leatherman instead.
(At past 2:00 min mark) “throw it in the car even, if you’re going to go out and have some wine” Not sure you want to drive some where to have wine… not the best combination.
how about making one that doesn't lock guys? come on most European countries prohibit locking blades, your missing out on a huge chunk of the market that is dominated by the leatherman rebar edc and gerber mp600 bladeless at the moment. make one and I will buy one its the perfect edc carry!
Come on, "most European countries" do not have any legislation regarding this. Germany and UK do. France does but it is not enforced there. Denmark maybe and that's it.
i fucking wish they stopped putting serrated blades on tools. i would rather have a normal knfie blade over a serrated. the serrated is sooo limited. its grate for cutting ropes and such but so can a normal blade do. but at least you can carve and cut wood whit a normal knife, but you cant whit a serrated. its fine to put one on if you allready have a normal knife blade on. but for the love of everything holy if your going to put one on.... use the normal blade, the serrated should be the secondary knife blade.

That powerpint looks very promising. Hope it can hold up to actual use.

How do you use the protractor though? I don't see any numbers on mine
looks real good, size is perfect, I just hope the quality does not disappoint me
dang that looks really nice. I currently carry a modified sog pocket powerplier.
That power litre would be a great addition to the masculine wine-o's edc lol.
If this was spring loaded .... it would be bestSeller of all time
Great tools
boyh have sissors , they lost the file !!

Just got mine today.. Powerpint is worth the wait.
Once you owned SOG you will realize that LMs are just polished Toys. Been on LMs and it don't hold up.

You can mod SOGs muti-tools easily, they even encourage it. Just take the blades out and you're done.

has a normal warncliff syle blade. serrated is the secondary knife, not sure how you missed that
@@patricksmith3049 i own this. i would prefer another tool than the serrated blade to begin whit.
@@TheGhostGhillie they make one with a corkscrew instead of a serrated blade
@@patricksmith3049 at the cost of the file aswell as the serrated blade.
