She was carrying the entire load whilst the other person, presumably your dad laid ontop of that load. I dont like the expression, single mum/dad (unless the othwr parent is dead) because the other parent always seems to get off when in reality its not only their non involvement which was felt but it became a burden to everyone else, your mum, whoever else helped and yourself included.

    Ladies, do not settle for anyone who doesn't respect you enough to share the household responsibilities. I was raised by a father who looked after us kids, who cooked and cleaned, who knew how to sew, and he taught me, a girl, to use tools and to fix things. My parents are equal. They have their preferences when it comes to what they do at home, but my father never made my mother do all the cooking and cleaning. They were a team.

    • @spiritual_earthly_insights
      @spiritual_earthly_insights Рік тому +6

      Thanks for sharing your experience. This is what I want in my marriage. And also want to be equal or at least equitable in pursuing my professional goals too. And until the time I find that equitable or equal sharing partner, I don't wish to ruin my life taking care of being a maid, sex worker and other things to a man who won't put equal efforts in loving their wife, give as equal respect to the wife as he gets for the wife's professional work; or giving equitable time to child care, teaching skills, etc. to their children.
      Otherwise I would rather be single 😔; or become a single mom eventually- though right now, that dream seems a bit faded, and my health isn't the level where I could take care of any child.
      I seriously right now regret not adopting a child when I was a decade or even two younger and had meaningful professional work life; and I partly regret pouring all my love on men who didn't deserve it; and weren't ready to grow up.
      Very few Indian men grow up from the free home and family care taker spouse rules and regimes of the past set up by their mom or dad or grandparents, that were set up by their parental families.
      And one that can't be healthy or functional in the modern world.
      But to get any man to recognise that is only something God is currently capable of doing, as the most equitable or sorted man too lives in lots of delusions about modern women- the good, kind, generous, quality women. Not the toxic, narcissistic, manipulative ones their dicks, egos, or unhealed traumas- keep pursuing.
      Also forget most modern ego, materialism or tail chasing men to even expect them to take care of a woman when she is sick or near death bed. It's simply not possible for them to understand this for their own mom or care take of her in any meaningful manner; forget them understanding the pain suffering, nearly dying health of a woman with whom they don't even share a genetic similarity with. ✌️🤍🙏✨🤦🤷
      This last realisation came to me when I went through all the things that led to my mom's death ( also death of many other family members who died decades back or even recently), and despite that none of my family ( forget the men in my family)- had the time, care, consciousness or even love to even ask how I was doing, even though I wrote how much I needed help; speaking to them was out of question, me being single/divorced and unemployed- coz that's the lowest totem pole in women getting any kind of care or love.

      Boys do not settle with any girl that wants you to be a stay at home dad, no matter what she says to convince you, if you ever do it she will completely lose respect for you instantly and eventually cheat. You cannot, you absolutelly cannot be anything beyond a dominant provider if you wanna have a healthy family as a man. Women say stuff like they want you to clean or whatever because they're complete bonkers and will do anything to efeminate you and break you as a man, to see what youre made out of. That doesnt mean that you should be incapable of cleaning, but like i said, women are complete bonkers, cuckoos, bananas. They will incrementally try to domesticate you, and if you ever let them do that, better get your divorce papers ready and find the best lawyer in the world because the court system is rigged towards women and she aill have no mercy on you. She will destroy your life completelly if you let her and have absolutelly no empathy watsoever if she thinks youre weak and despises you. Do not expect any decency from a women in a power position. They are made to be weaker and get absolutelly vicious if put on top of things.

    A woman saying that having a daughter is stressful is laughable. She was clearly a daughter who was told her whole life that she was too much for her parents. I'm glad my daughter will never have to feel this way. She never gets told that she stressful or too much just because she's a girl. Women need to stop with this shit. My mother raised me to feel like I was a burden and it was more than easy to end that cycle towards my daughter.

      It's a awful cultural thing here in India that's why knowing the gender before birth is banned here because they abort the girl child because it's "too much" to handle and we're always told this and sometimes believe it ourselves that we're a burden on everyone. I'm so happy for your daughter btw she has an amazing mother 🙏🏻💞

    And this is where we forget: Strong men of character raise strong sons of character, not women. If you look at the prisons and talk to the men in there, you'll find this in common--they didnt have a dedicated father or father like figure in their home of character to teach them. It didn't matter how strong and amazing and independent their mothers were. There's a UA-cam video where this young gal who was a tutor for juvenile prisoners and that's what she was told by all the guys there.

      This is debunked. The only citation is from 1987 for juvenile detention centers so it wasn’t even adult prisons, and they still got it wrong. As for prisons the percent of people in there raised without a dad is about equal to those raised without a mom, and the overall percent isn’t large. A child of a single parent has well over an 80 percent chance of never seeing a prison at all.
