Did u watch every minute of the trial? If u did u would know the judge wasn't even in the room! Nor was court in session. This is the problem with everything in America right now. You repeat what you HEARD from a third party source without knowing the actual basic foundation for the actual truth. Then people spread it around as fact. And that is how EveryThing gets misconstrued. People don't want to put in the time or energy to receive the information straight from the actual source, they just want to believe what someone's conclusion online was, an exaggeration. And then comment it as a fact. It's ridiculous. (I'm not here to argue about the case or the middle finger) I'm merely pointing out the facts of what's wrong with our media and our country!!

Uh? Nobody is saying that the shooter isn't wrong. But saying the judge was in the right is wrong too.
The first clip of the judge telling off the defense isn't just ridiculous, but it shows the hypocrisy of the judge. The defense was upset after the parents of some of the victims brought up the children of the defense council during victim impact statements. The defense obviously wasn't happy about that, and for the judge to get emotional and start berating the defense, then act outraged when defense brought up the idea of the judge's children being mentioned PROVES WHAT THE DEFENSE WAS SAYING.

Yes, and the defense attorney should have understood that the parents of the victims were absolutely feeling victimized further by the defense team's unprofessional and flippant and callous behavior. He took it personally for being called out by the parent of one of the victims, so he decided to attack the Judge.
I also believe she was pregnant during this trial ... I could be wrong, but I believe she was.. and in that context, I completely understand why she took the defense lawyer's mention of her children so personally.

like the judge mentioned here, it was a misunderstanding due to one of the victims family having a heavy accent. so where the defender thought/felt his kids were wrongfully mentioned, turns out they were not mentioned because the word she actually said was defendant. and that's why the judge said, if his kids were brought up at any point, it must've slipped past her because she didn't hear it.

So lovely of her to promote the calls to action by the victims' families to honor their loved ones.💖 A lifetime appointment is too much for a caring rational person as she obviously is to be subjected to inside the broken system we Still have. 📜

I live in Australia and I was glued to this case, firstly I would like to acknowledge the respect that the host Jesse has given the families in this case who I remember in their victim statements and their one request to media covering this case was to not give use the name of the defendant so to not give him any “fame” if that’s the word for what he did and that’s the first thing that I praise jessse for is his respecting those wishes to the families. Secondly to the judge I’m a trans woman and I admire you and what gets me is how could anyone man or woman sit in a room listening to what happened to the victims loved ones and NOT give them a hug at the conclusion, when I saw that I knew this woman had empathy something I think every judge should have for both the victims and in some cases the defendant! There was nothing wrong with this woman having empathy for her fellow human beings and hugging them at the end! I would have been more concerned about her professionalism had she not have

she didn't "blow it off". she stated that if that was the case, that it went past her and that they needed to move fwd. then for him to say what he did about HER kids, just validates her point even more about the whole defense teams unprofessionalism and child like behavior.
if you actually watched this entire interview, you wouldve been made aware of misunderstanding in this exact situation. where a victims family member who had a heavy accent stated multiple times in her speech the word defendant. and that it was misinterpreted as the word defender. and that's why the defender had the thought that his kids were brought up when in fact they weren't. and that's where the misunderstanding took place. but for him to talk to her (the judge) like that, completely inexcusable.

I don't think this person is qualified to be a judge.

Based on the way we saw this judge behave, I’m so surprised you all just believe everything she says the defense team did. Is nobody going to talk about how outrageous and hypocritical she was.

She made the mistake of getting her personal "feelings & bias"! She didnt act like a dignified Judge, but rather a high school MEAN GIRL!

The judge had the right to say everything she did. They were very disrespectful to her and the entire room! Smh !

We need more judges like this. To see things for what they are and address them. I understand why they “cant” because of bias but you see it all the the time when it’s a politically charged case against a certain party even when it’s irrelevant to the case and nobody says anything 🤷‍♀️

The way the judge sent the lawyer to the back after that pure gaslighting was insane.

Glad to see she has calmed down, but blaming defense for her bad behavior is ridiculous. Thankful she “resigned”.

Nah, the defense team was so disrespectful and vile in their behavior that the parents of the victims admonished the defense team and they got butt hurt over it. The defense team actually saying "No one has had to endure what we have had to endure" was absolutely disgusting since parents of innocent children shot by the defendant were in the court room. That was by far unprofessional, disgusting and wrong. To try and act like they were victims when the actual victims were in the room is.... Unbelievable. Then the defense decided to attack the judge because the parents commented on the defense team's unprofessional behavior and he took it personally? Nah, The Judge was right to admonish them. Did she get a bit emotionally charged? Yeah, but anyone who has a single drop of empathy would have too. The defense was acting like spoiled crybabies when it wasn't about them. It was about holding the defendant responsible for shooting innocent children. The parents were the victims here, not entitled defense attorneys acting like they were high school children- spoilt, selfish and entitled- and devoid of empathy.
