I picked up the same two shades from Saks and I love them! The 4 is too dark for me right now but it'll be beautiful when I self tan or get some natural color during the Summer. It's the most beautiful formula I've ever tried!
I can't justify spending that much on a bronzer , my most luxury bronzer is the Gucci, and i love everything about that bronzer. I just love hearing what you think, Tara ❤️

They both look great! Again, the swatches are so helpful! It looks like shade 4 is deeper than the gorgeous Gucci shade we both love as well as Charlotte Tilbury’s tan shade. Both of those work perfectly on my complexion. I picked up shade 5 but haven’t tried it yet. Oh well, we’ll see. If it doesn’t work out--she is going back to Nordstrom. Wonderful review (as always) 🤗

Hi Tara! I also picked up shades 3 and 4. I enjoy them both! 3 is more a brown bronzer on me with some warmth and 4 is more reddish bronzey (no need to wear blush). 4 will be perfect in summer when I get more tan! I love this formula. It doesn’t emphasize texture and like you said, is pretty beginner friendly!

I got shade 3 and love it! It's so natural,Flawless and easy to use. I don't think you can mess up. Side note: I bought at $98 and saw retailers picked it up to $105.
@@dkladiann right now I use Valentino Foundation in shade MN3 and Dior airflash(discontinued) 3wo. My other perfect shade bronzer is Gucci in shade 2. Hope that helps.

GREAT VIDEO! I picked up 2 Atlas, but it is WAY too warm, so I’m waiting on 3, which I think will be just right. I do love the product and the highlighter (shade 1), which is every bit as good as the one they came out with last year. I do agree that the packaging could be more luxe (I even like the Haus Labs and REM blush packaging better), but overall, I don’t mind it. Good purchase for me even though I needed to buy two of the bronzers to get the correct shade and undertone.
I just wish hermes would bring the price point down to gucci. The packaging does not justify the extra dollars imo. Swatches are fantastic, as usual Tara. I adore the dior, oh that rhymes, along with gucci - the shades and application are perfection. Didn't like VB or WG. Especially WG, applied patchy and noticeable in selfies 🙄

I honestly don’t understand why everyone complains about Hermes packaging. They have improved it with these bronzers and Chanel packaging feels way cheaper imho. Besides, these powders look amazing on the skin! I don’t have anything like it in my collection

I understand what you mean about packaging I’ve always felt that way about Chantecaille, their packaging is also super light weight plastic, but I do love their makeup. I picked up Sienne and Colorado. We are pretty much shade twins but I like to self tan a lot! 😂 Colorado is deep but if I go light handed it's fine. This summer it will be amazing. I swatched it next to Victoria Beckham04 and Charlotte Tilbury 03 Tan and they are very close with the Hermes slightly more red. I think I'm going to really like these bronzers. As for the purses, I love looking at Chanel and LV . I do really love those bags and I literally could afford to buy as many as I want but I just can't do it. 5 bags is almost a brand new car. I just respect our money more than that. Maybe one day I'll splurge and buy a bag but I'll never be a collector. So far my biggest splurge is a Chanel necklace I bought while in Vegas. I knew if I ever went to Vegas I was getting something from the Chanel store. Lol

It is one pricey Highlighter, but, no other Highlighter blends into my skin like the one from Hermès. It also doesn't give that glitter sparkly look like some. It's so beautiful. I did review it, and compare it to a ton of others in my Swatches so you can see if it's a good shade for you. Just search Tara Lynn Hermès and it should pop up😁❤️ Hope that is helpful 🙏

Shade 3 was perfect and I do think you can go up to shade 2. Shade 4; although it didn’t look bad, I just don’t think it was as flattering as shade 3. I do believe shade 4 was meant for dark to medium dark. The model used for shade 4, looked like she was of African descent, but I keep seeing light to medium light and even medium toned women using it, which is perplexing. Because they seemed shocked when it’s not the outcome they hoped for.
I think the Gucci bronzer is my true HG. I cannot be swayed to try another. I have never once looked at my makeup in the past couple of years and found any fault with my bronzer.
I think they had the price wrong when I bought it from Nordstrom. It was 95. Now it’s 105. I don’t know how they messed that up. 😂😂 it wasn’t worth the 95 I paid for it let alone 105. The bronzer is nice but nothing special. The packaging is terrible. I mean for that price I want something like Gucci’s bronzer. And I like Gucci’s better.
Recently Byredo has just paid ALL of their employees a €4000 one off bonus! Why? Simple, the profits for the year '22 - '23 were astronomical. Whilst it's awesome that Byredo has recognised their employees, I have to remind myself that all of this is solely because their loyal/faithful CUSTOMERS are paying extortionate prices for their products. The same "extortionate" prices that Hermes are charging for this bronzer ($105) The price of this bronzer is NOT because of the exceptional quality of the product or packaging {the ingredients of this bronzer does NOT include blended unicorn tears or crushed mermaid tails ~ Which would explain the ridiculous pricing}, it's just for their profits. We vote with our purses/bank accounts. If we say "NO, we're not paying THAT amount of money for a bronzer", the Law of Economics dictates that the price would be reduced. Needless to say, I will not be getting this product - I'd rather give it to a charity!! Saying all of this, does not reflect on Tara's awesome vid. How do you feel about the Dior bronzers? I have so many points at Ulta and I was thinking of getting one. Shade 6 Amber Bronze looks sort of gray in your swatches.. what do you think?
She has a full review of Dior bronzers 6 & 7. I thought 6 would be too gray but actually i prefer personally a little cool toned bronzer (not red or orange, cool/neutral/golden is my preference) and while it looks gray-ish in pics and swatches on the skin it doesn't look like that when applied. It works like a brontour, i prefer a little chisled look, plus looks amazing in photos. I suggest swatching at a store if you can. I swatched it at Sephora recently, just waiting for their spring sale to pick shade 6 up. for reference I am LM to M with neutral-golden undertones. I wear Nars Punjab in light reflecting foundation and I have the Victoria Beckham bronzing brick in shade3, of which my fav is the contour color of the two (right half looking at the pan).

I never understand why it's only the deeper bronze shades that have the red tone?? Lighter skinned people need the same RED tone just lighter!! I'm forever looking for the right shades, often going darker to get a better tone. @@cindyp5132 Actually, yes! I just picked up a blush from MAKE beauty in the shade "Mystic Mauve." Stunning, true mauve in a very interesting formula. It is not powdery at all (no kick-up in the pan) and looks seamless on the skin.
Well…I’m a pass on this bronzer for now. I’m going for a very low - close to no- buy this year and I have a few bronzers I’m trying to get through. I did just buy my first piece of makeup for my collection since December…which is saying something for me. I bought the lighter version of the new limited edition Chanel eyes/cheeks palette. I would’ve waited even to buy that but the LE got me-especially since I know when Chanel says it, they mean it. 😂
Hermes again... honestly there are so many good brands out there to review that aren't so much expensive and probably better than Hermes which is just a big name in fashion

Chantecaille Goa is red-toned and works well on light, cool-toned skin with a light hand. You might like that one! It's a gorgeous bronzer.

@@cindyp5132 Actually, yes! I just picked up a blush from MAKE beauty in the shade "Mystic Mauve." Stunning, true mauve in a very interesting formula. It is not powdery at all (no kick-up in the pan) and looks seamless on the skin.
Well…I’m a pass on this bronzer for now. I’m going for a very low - close to no- buy this year and I have a few bronzers I’m trying to get through. I did just buy my first piece of makeup for my collection since December…which is saying something for me. I bought the lighter version of the new limited edition Chanel eyes/cheeks palette. I would’ve waited even to buy that but the LE got me-especially since I know when Chanel says it, they mean it. 😂
