What would be your advice to pack the poles with the skis (if even possible)

I recommend a pole tube or PVC pipe for poles. Most pole tubes have a hard casing that will prevent poles from breaking during travel. Then just put the pole tube in the bag. If you do not have a tube its best to tape all your poles together in one big bundle… together they are much stronger:)
