I just stumbled across your channel. There are not many male hosted de-clutter videos and I really enjoyed yours. I like your low-key, decisive style. Good job.
I admit that I was a little judgy when I saw you count individual small pieces as individual items but then I checked myself. It is all clutter no matter how small if it has no purpose and is not getting used. This convinced me to count even small steps as progress. Good for you and congrats on completing the challenge.
I couldn't do the numbered items daily. I just started in one room and started purging as i felt i was comfortable with each day. I worked well for me and I got rid of so much more that way. Im 75 and im sure i had alot more than you. Congratulations on doing this and starting on keeping your home organized.
The Minimalists, Ryan Nicodemus and Joshua Millburn, came up with the game. They have a podcast and a couple of documentaries out there.
I notice how you take them out of the house immediately. I wouldn’t run out for 3 things, but it works! I should try that, bc I wait til the box is full, and it seems like it goes from full to a mess in the front hall! Fantastic tenacity and commitment!

It does! I hadn’t noticed before… I suppose variations of the ‘flower of life’ look like all sorts of things

I have a printer that doesn't work. I think the ink dried up, from lack of use. Kept it, thinking I should get new ink cartridges. Never got round to it. I'll recycle it. Can borrow the use of one, if needed.

The 30 day challenge came from the guys actually known as the minimalists. If you haven't heard of them they have a UA-cam channel under the same name as well as a website. 😊

Late last year I took five carloads (suv filled to the roof) of donations to the Humane Society Thrift Store. I need to go look for more to unload; I'm loving the reality of less stuff and feeling like I added a bit to other people's lives if they need some of these things.

Where can I get a copy of your graphic that you are coloring in each day as you declutter? I have been decluttering and I'm just stuck...I need to do it in a more organized process. I think I can do this. btw, congratulations on doing such a phenomenal job of reaching your decluttering goals!

In April, there’s an all day declutter live with 3 UA-cam women that collaborate. It’s Take Your House Back. I tuned in for the last one in January and it was fantastic!

Why did you get rid of something that is sentimental to you, your first year project, Iknow you can’t get it back, hope you have a photo of it for yourself.

"Hoarder" = slightly too much stuff? Dude, words mean things.
Words do mean things. Hoarding doesn't just mean the extreme version, you see on TV.
