    From my personal experience :
    1) If we tell them that we are taking INSURANCE and CAR LOAN from outside (or)
    2) if we tell them that we will customize the vehicle by taking lower end model (base variant etc)
    then I have seen "drastic" change in "behavior" of dealers, because they will not be getting any those profits and they tend to loose interest with those customers.
    What to do in those cases, should we still buy from those dealers or look for some other dealer ?

    Dear,
    Discounts are not depends on target, it depends on inventory with dealer n company. Most of the time customers r in loss because of delayed decision. Loss ratio is 85%. Overall nice explanation.

      I think that you have a valid point which also will enlighten new car buyers. Thank you for your additional information. Again looking at the sales figures of different cars, one can judge himself as to which car maker will try to give more discounts to improve upon it's sales figure.

    Mahindra people are very flexible, we could negotiate with them easily and they dint raise any issue. We bought insurance and accessories from outside Mahindra insurance was around 1 lakh and outside same policy we got it at 55 thousand from policy Bazaar almost saved 45,000. Same in accessories we saved a lot as we are getting it done from outside.

    ये एक्सेसरी डिस्काउंट वाला हमारे साथ हो चुका है। डीलर ने डिस्काउंट देने के नाम पर 35k की एक्सेसरी डाली जो कि बाहर बहुत सस्ते में मिल जाती और अच्छी मिल जाती। अमेजन पर भी अब तो बहुत से मैट वगैरह मिल जाते हैं।

    I went to Tata showroom, they were not offering any discount and infact asking double price for insurance and then reduced it and called it discount.
    Similar thing was done at Nissan showroom but worse.
    This was in Bangalore.

    Budget is 8-9, buying from CSD, running will be less than 500 km/ month in Himachal village, petrol variant, IMT/AMT, pakka roads with few rough patches, good ground clearance, first time driver, safety is the top most priority. Nexon, Brezza and i20 are a few options in mind. Ok with both SUV and hatchback. People complain about Nexon engine so little confused. Please suggest. Thanks in advance

    Bhai mai 23 December ko Scorpio N Z8L book karwaya, And usme se Accessories + Ext Warranty + Insurance nikalwa diya. And fir ye sb hatane k badd dealer 40,000 ka discount de raha hai. Aur bargain possible hai? And mai use bola jo car ki manufacturing honi chahiye wo 2-3 months k andar rehni chahiye warna mai nhi lunga. Toh dealer bolta hai, 3 months old hai. And agar PDI pe usse 1-2 month zyada raha toh kya kru? Usse 20-30K discount aur karwau ya fir Ext warranty ya Accessories le lu??

    Dealer has given me Rs. 43,247 as insurance (1-year RTI + 3 year TP) for the new Toyota cruiser in Pune whereas HDFC Ergo online insurance for the same term is Rs. 21,247.

    Hi Sumit, Great content, tx for sharing. One question on getting quarter end discount - reg. the dealer targets, is their target met on taking pre-booking amount or on actual full payment. Assuming car has a waiting period then should one go for booking at quarter end or actual delivery and full amount payment at quarter end to get best discounts.

    I talked to ICICI lombard for insurance. They also told me to buy insurance through dealer. Because once you buy it from dealer then PAN india you get better service and easy claim process. You just don't need to reduce the price of car, you need to think of future possibilities too.

    I am located in Bangalore & looking to buy a new car ( Shortlist: Nexon/ Sonet/ Venue)... But I see big difference of On Road prices (~₹1.5L) on the same car if I compare to other cities... Can you please suggest how to save here?

      No way to save that. Road tax/RTO charges are more in Bangalore. You may have to register it somewhere else, but that too is not a good idea, unless you are a govt employee, who can get a BH number plate vehicle.

    Gadi ki waiting he 3-6 mahine chal rahi hai...aur dusri baat kisi bhee cheez per sales men se panga lene ka matlab gadi ki delivery late aur new gadi hai kuchh engine mein he chhed chhad kar de kya pata lagne wala hai....
    Baki apki vdo hamare fayde k liye he hai 🙏

      Hi Brother.....Salesman can not even dare to touch anything......First thing, yhey do not have direct incentive that way, profit gets to Dealer...not to the salesman..plus if car gets cancelled bcs of whatever he did and he gets captured, he has all the possibilities to loose his own job that he wont keep at stake ...so don worry....and we are not fighting.....we are bargaining.....everyone does that ...so nothing bad in that.....

    Very good information sharing. I inquired about Seltos diesel recently and the quoted insurance for 1+2 years is 50 thousand. On policy bazaar, the same is available for 25 thousand. This is a high level of cheating. Same is true about accessories. Nowadays most of the cars are waiting hence this day light robbery is going on.

    Your video is 1 year old but I am impressed .I was going to Alto VXI but changed my mind with in 2days for celerio but dealer said it is out for dilivery but earlier he said 15 days wait but we insisted on celerio now pl could you suggest the month I should buy .

    6th point thoda disagree karta hu, iska reason ye hai ki agar hum final karte hai to jo offers hote hai wo uss month tak hi valid hote na ki delivery ke time pe. Agar same month mai delivery hui to hi iska hum fayda utha sakte hai. Waiting period ke cars ke liye ye lagu nahi hota
