    I cannot imagine delivering a baby early, watching her thrive in NICU, undergoing surgeries, doing all in your power as a parent to make sure your beloved baby is healthy and growing. Then, a disgusting piece of shiz coward comes along and takes it all away in the blink of an eye, for the sake of “getting off”.

    Wow! If April's parents really were able to bring pressure to bear on Google and Microsoft to change searching methods and flag up the dangerous ones, that is amazing on their part.
    Most people when faced with such a horror spend years hardly being able to keep their own lives on track, as their mind and body are so impacted by what has happened. What formidable people. Harnessing the worst that they have experienced and turning it to help the rest of the world.

      This story always hit home. We live a few miles away from this area, and we have a 5 year old daughter called April. The thought of our April meeting the same fate is too heartbreaking and crushing to even contemplate. The community came together to support the search and the family, and this is what I always remember. RIP little lady 🩷

    The pressure and consistency the police had in this case is astonishing… they literally tried every technique in the book, and succeeded. The amount of support and aid the people were willing to give in this case is humbling… people from all over the country were there at a moments notice to help in any way they could… this case, although tragic, proves that there are still good people in this world

    From the moment that !!!!!!POS!!!!! said, I ran her over. I knew he was lying!! Cuz, her friend said she got into his car. And not her lifeless body was dragged into his car. There's A HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two.

    This may seem like a "Medieval" type of punishment, but I honestly think that if someone if convicted of Pedophilia, sexual molestation, and everything along those lines, with a child, should be given Life in prison or death, and should be castrated. These type of monsters will never get any sympathy from me no matter what happens to them, whether in this life, or the next.

      Sneatt-" Medievial" punishment was when two trees separated by a few ft had their branches tied together & the criminal was hung upside down in the middle. Then the rope holding the branches was snipped - thereby tearing the criminal in half!😂
      I remember listening to something about medieval practices on 'UA-cam' of all things. What we consider medieval is a luxury! I'm with you on castration!

    I remember this happening, I had a child the same age as April and this story still tears me apart to this day. Rest peacefully little April, and I hope the Jones family have found some kind of peace and healing in the time that has passed.

    What a heartwarming show of support by volunteers from all over to search for little April. It's easy to see they were emotionally invested in finding her. The beast who hurt her wasn't that far away. Hopefully the funeral gave the family some closure, and that many MANY cared.

      I'm not talking about this sick psychopath who did it on purpose but I do believe many people who have killed probably can't remember such a traumatic thing. The brain works in a way to protect at all costs. Many people don't remember traumatic things that have happened to them and I imagine for many who aren't cold blooded psychopath murderers they really dont remember because it's so traumatic.     The only consolation is that the judge was a good one and sentenced him to life in prison. He never told where the body is, because the evidence of What hi has done to the little girl would show clearly what a monster depraved, perverse human he is. Rot in jail.

    What a deplorable man. If he worked as an abattoir, I'm surprised they never checked there (unless it's just not mentioned in the video; same with April's bike, was it lying there, damaged, or ever found?)       Her bike was fine, no damage at all, that's another reason his story of knocking her over was bs. It's believed her dismembered her in his bathtub then burnt her remains in his fireplace, hence only finding burnt bone fragments. This case haunted us all in the UK & still does till this day.

    Do not ever let your 5 year old kid play outside without an adult looking after them. Even if it's a friendly neighborhood, it takes only 1 freak to do something awful. Watch your kids and teach them really early on to not trust strangers, this is the kinda world we live in, we have to prepare them for it.

    I don't get it when reporters or storytellers say that someone did well in school, was beloved by everyone, was 'a great gift to the world', was beautiful looking...
    As if it would have been less of a bad situation if the victim had been a plain Jane with nothing special to offer and just lived her life as a boring person up until their death.

      I do agree, however I think any reporter or narrator will emphasise the good qualities of the victim as it is a way of remembering them in a respectful and positive way. You never hear any narrator describing any victim as average as it would do them a disservice and undermine their value.
      There are always positive things to say about innocent victims ❤

      It's believed he dismembered April in his bathtub then burnt her remains in his fireplace, hence why only burnt bone fragments were ever found. This broke the hearts of everyone in the UK & still haunts us all to this day.

    Maybe I am just daft, but I don't recall any evidence of hitting her bike. Her friend didn't say that either. I suspect - as friend of her parents - the usual rouse: "your mom & dad sent me to pick you up because ..." Because recognized him, she willingly got in his vehicle.

    How are 17 bone fragments found in his home but they can't tie them to April?

      Burning bone destroys the dna. So even tho they found bond fragments they wouldn't be able to positively say...this is her. With adults it may be possible if the fire wasn't too intense. But children's bones are smaller. Less marrow etc.
