I think you're right. It is already a fabulous vehicle as it is. I reckon a naturally aspirated engine sounds better than one with turbo or supercharging equipment.
Owww... Would really have to disagree. The powertrain in this thing is amazing. It now sends it's power through the latest ZF 8sp transmission which is dubbed by people such as Chris Harris to the the best auto on the planet. The 6.4 is also a gem, powerful with a great sound and being NA I'd say responsive too. More power from turbos would be interesting however I'd further up the weigh and most importantly up the price.

I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. If the Captiva had a V8 (which it'd be crazy fast if it did) then Holden may feel obligated to make a HSV version. Maybe if there's a demand for a V8 SUV the Colorado 7 might receive an extra engine in its lineup

yes i love hove it shakes as it transitions gears i wish it had more of a pop to it tbh but the roar sounds ok
instead of launch control or stalling it up, just leave it in auto mode, and flick the shifter to S, and floor it... mines faster 0-100km/h this way than it is using launch control etc...

see vid on my page, track mode auto shift, no launch control 4.3sec... temperature plays a big part though, when its freezing cold its crazy, when its warmer its a bit slower 4.5s+ depending on how hot, even does sub 5's 0-100km/h in the wet and that was in auto mode
+Inspired Vision 100% agree. I run mine in Sport all the time and run 4.2s consistently. I never run it in Tack but use the Launch Control for my best times.

You do realize this isn't the 2015 version, beyond that I have the factory sheets with me and road tests done by old Top Gear of all the cars, SRT8 was the slowest of the three

I was thinking exactly the same. My 6 MPS averages 11-12L/100kms that too when i drive conservatively and dont step on it hard. the jeep's efficiency isn't so bad comparatively lol
