I appreciate what Jim Warner says. It's sometimes hard to identify idols. You kinda have to back up to see them better cause you're so close to them its like not seeing the forest for the trees. I don't get excited much anymore about stuff since my sister died last year. She was my best friend. My faith has suffered since then. Maybe she was an idol. I try to pray and read the Bible every day, but I still find it hard to get close to God

If a person will be honest and really look at their lives, they'll be shocked at what idols and how many have snuck into their lives. It can be as simple as a food or drink they have to have every day. If you put anything in a position above God, you have an idol.
I eat only raw milk, raw eggs, raw meat I feel like im being targeted by the thumbnail. Thing is I est the diet that enables humans to live 150-300 and refuse to have ignorant people half my lifespan needlessly Research terrain theory why viruses are not contagious/aajonus vonderplanitz(chronic disease, cancer cure, no mental problems) after that ur left with only your sin and a very healthy bosy

However, she has always put God first and was the reason I chose her ( well I prayed first and met her 2 weeks after 9/11) so He chose her for me. Our two teenage sons are raised with Jesus Christ. I think that is the hest parenting any couple can offer their children. Belief system based in Christ for our modern world.

And so shall we. At to many times the only medicine is the bitter one. So it is, at least to my taste. Yet the same Peter said: Oh Lord, were shall we go?! For only you have the words of life. "Those that love their life shall lose it, yet those that lose their own life for my sake shall find it." Almost anything can be turned into an idol. Yet Jesus there is only one.

For me, my idol is self! We all know Jesus‘s words “ die to self daily, take up your cross and follow me”
If you can overhand your own self to Jesus, there will not be any other idol left. Easier said than done and a everyday task.
