as an EDM fan for over 10 years, I’m finally glad people realize there’s a lot more to EDM that just what you hear on the radio, we got hella subgenres with some even more crazier than this 😭😭

this is my exact music taste xD i personally just call it “loud beep boop music” because i can’t remember the differences between hyperpop/glitchcore/speedcore/breakcore but i know that it’s all electronic & loud
I have no idea how to know the differences between hyperpop and glitchcore. But the difference between breakcore and speedcore is obvious. The speedcore has a very fast velocity and the breakcore is a fusion of drum and bass so it probably has amen breaks plus the charm of the old breakcore is that in some parts the song will "break" and whatever. But breakcore is much more relaxed than speedcore.
1. tbqf - das lov bop (0:00) SPEEDCORE 2. 4lung - gemini vibe (2:46) i would say dancecore but its really slow so its happy hardcore 3. S3RL - Candy (6:02) happy hardcore, though with it being nightcore and if alternate kicks were added it could be terror 4. NOMA - brain power (9:07) eurobeat (theres also minimal amounts of dubstep/bassline in a measure or two with the kick pattern changes) 5. 666 VOLT & CHU CHU - HOOKER PALACE (15:17) this is some good ol classic 90s gabber, but from the comedic samples and the shitty sound design this could be considered shit/pisscore 6. nekozuna - GLITTER ERROR (17:36) first it goes with a dariacore/speedbreak flow, then it fades to happy hardcore, then back to speedbreak, with a lil bit of jungle (honestly tracks like this are best to be called just breakcore) 7. renard - i just cant stop thinking about balls (19:24) ah yes, a classic, this is mashcore for sure i know all of this because i make music just fucking like it xd

Edm which it parents off with reggae, jungle, hip-hop, Bangladeshi and disco and it’s cousins is break-beat, drum and bass , and night core which night core is just speeding a song up and pitching the voice to make it bubbly like. Furthermore most EDM songs are just basically your nightclubs to trip out on edibles or other illegals substance and wear colorful and neon clothing to rave out as well.
