HardstyleFox Yeah... I came here because I wanted to discover Jackal's other tracks not to listen to Rubber Band. I only came because I'm a huge fan of electronic music.
I've been goin back and listening to all my old favorites from five or six years ago. God, I've been listening to Renard's music for so long, Lapfox stuff is basically a piece of my history. My old faves were Jackal Queenston (especially Jackal, he was probably my primary early fave), Klippa, NegaRen, JAQL, and TQBF. Later on my faves started to include Bandetto, KITCALIBER, Truxton, Rotteen, and EUGENE. Such good stuff....I used to listen to pretty much nothing but Lapfox, hearing this album again is a nostalgia trip. On a side note, apparently this became a meme??? I honestly have no clue what meme this is because I've never personally seen it. I guess that's why this album seems to have a high amount of views lol. Idk when you started listening to this, but Renard's music was already being recycled pretty often in fads and memes back in like 2009-2011. Although to be fair it was mostly the few known songs like intensive care unit, avast your ass etc.

Yeah, it’s getting harder because the character Jackal Queenston was canonically a nazi, which obviously sparked controversy. Lapfox stopped involving Jackal Queenston’s character in 2020.
FINALLY I found some Lapfox tracks on UA-cam, and in a fucking great mix too! Been ages since I listened to this stuff on bandcamp, and lost all links. Hyper!
The last track makes me feel something I didn't know existed. Makes me nostalgic, but not exactly. Feels like seeing that "The dawn is your enemy" Adult Swim sign off. Creeps me out as hell actually, but that doesn't mean the track itself is bad, no! It's brilliant. The whole album is hyper and brutal, and this track is just so calm. It feels like the end of some children's television programming late at night. Maybe it's just my own weirdness and irrational trauma manifesting when I'm listening to this.
Many people don’t know that the character Jackal Queenston was supposed to be a Nazi (in fiction of course). If you google it, you can find official art proving this and even drama articles or wiki pages on the character as evidence. That’s the reason Lapfox has moved on from this character since 2020. I separate the music from the character because I don’t support nazi furs. I believe that Lapfox Trax has changed their ways, I’m grateful they understood how he was harmful and offensive.
