The blow dryer was a game changer for me. I got the heated brush but it didn’t do much. I went back to blow drying and stayed with that. I got the Aberlite and no complaints for around $35, but if I would if got the more expensive ones I would of been mad for spending that much.
Good informative video as of now the blow dryer seems to work best for me. I haven’t got the brush down just yet I do have a problem with over straightening🤷🏼♂️😎
I use a blow dryer and a chicago comb mostly, I also have the blow dryer brush combo thing. Just depends on my day on what I use. I use a heated brush every once in a while not to often
Just started blow drying my fairly long beard and I enjoy the results but my side burns to upper cheeks could still use some more flatening or flyaway control, especally the side I sleep on more. Only a week or so in w dryer, getting the hand movements down still but thinkin bout getting a cheapish straightener just for the side areas now.
Never used a blow dryer 2 style or straighten my beard b4. Since my beard is overly curly, the heated brush does wonders. But I haven't used any heat this year. Learning 2 except my beard in it's natural state
I am team headed brush all the way. You can control the temperature easier and get tension with heat resulting in better results. However, whatever you choose (brush or blower) made heat part of your routine. It will help soften and straighten your beard follicles. 🧔♂️
There's definitely something to be said for repetition and practice. I also think it's also easier for someone else because they don't have to look in a mirror and can get better viewing angles.
@@markcafebrown2883 I would agree with you in general. However there are some larger heated brushes originally designed for head hair that can work for larger beards. They are actually less exponentials general than the smaller ones designed for beards.

That’s a great attitude. With a dense curly beard you can achieve your desired shape with how you trim it instead of using heat.
One other element, the hair dryer heats up my whole bathroom with all that hot air. With the heated brush, room temperature stays nice and cool 😎

I have both...and neither seems to work on my white curly wires. My barber seems to work wonders with a blow dryer...must be technique.
