The warden has a ranged attack now so u can't just pillar up
EDIT: The warden's ranged sonic boom attack is semi heat-seeking, meaning you can't dodge it. It also disables your shield, so you can't just block it.
EDIT 2: In the latest snapshot, the sonic boom attack was updated. It now has only 2 seconds of cool down time (instead of the old 5 seconds cool down time), and it does 10 damage (5 hearts) no matter what armor you have on.

@Parragon Dusk The warden hears every sound in a fairly-large range. Its probably already mad at you at that point. Being out of range might also not work at some point as they might be able to detect your location depending on where you hit it. Can't forget its sense of smell. Also how will you even see the thing?
It can pass through about 15 blocks so if they are high enough they should be fine

You can block the sonic boom with a shield.
So in a way if you have a punch 2 bow you can kill him without him coming near

reason for the thumbnail meme:the warden has 250 hp and it can have 500 sometimes it's 6 shot with sharpness 255
it haves 500, it haves 250 hearts
Also wardens have a ranged attack now
the reason why the thumbnail wont work is because mojang literally made the warden counter attack with that, it has a scream ability that can deal HEAVY DAMAGE, like it would cost you 4 hearts in diamond armor. PLUS it goes through blocks preventing you to stack up to safety

People dont realise that the Warden has a new "sonic boom" ranged ability that can hit THROUGH blocks and can travel up to 15 blocks away.
