David Lee BOUGHT the FIRST New Ferrari 812 Competizione A in the US!

- My friend @ferraricollectordavidlee has bought a brand new 812 Competizione A! It's the very first Aperta to be delivered in the US, and finished in the exclusive Cavalcade spec in Verde Volterra. Let's show how to take the targa roof panel off and take it for a first drive!
The Ferrari 812 Competizione is limited to only 999 Coupes and 599 Apertas; with the 5 different Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Collection paint colours available only to those who have participated in Ferrari's Cavalcade events. Not only does that make this 812 Comp A spectacularly rare to begin with, but it was also the very first to be delivered in the United States full stop!
David's Ferrari Collection has been impressive for many years but always leaves me blown away; even more so now it contains the big 5 in Rosso Corsa, and a growing collection of Giallo Ferraris too. We'll take a quick look around before it's time to focus on the 812 Competizione A and remove the targa roof ready for a drive in the Californian sunshine.

Mr. Lee has a magnificent collection. He is also such a nice guy and it shows that he truly loves all Ferrari has accomplished. I can think of no one better to add one of the hand built, old school, GT’s to his care...the 1957 Tesstarosa 250. That car was all hand built by master craftsmen and, in my humble opinion, a genuine masterpiece. Thus its stratospheric price tag. Perhaps Mr. Lee can get a small break in the price by finding one without racing pedigree. Just thinking out loud...don’t mind me.

Great video shmee, a great question I’ve been wondering for David is has he ever considered/been offered to create his own one off project with Ferrari? I feel he would be a great choice to do so.
I don't know the answer to that, but maybe it happens one day and I'm sure his channel will be the one to share it!

Been looking forward to this! This was terrific! Only thing that could have topped it would be to take the new enzo apareta out or the yellow f50. F50 is still one of the best sounds ever in a naturally aspirated v12. It would be hard to top the Ferrari 812 series with a successor new model. I hope they keep it naturally aspirated. The 296 is this the best value and smile for miles in the entire Ferrari lineup. Looking forward to arrival of that more than the new v12 Ferrari cross over. Thanks for the terrific content!

Really Like David Lee and how down to earth he is, but love that green cars are finally getting their due...Not the hugest Ferrari "fan boy" as they will always be a pipe dream for me...but will have to take issue with Enzo Ferrari when he said the E-Type Jaguar was the most beautiful car ever...the most beautiful car ever, was a pic I saw of a 275GTB in a dark green called Verde Pino...my opinion the most beautiful car ever!

Stunning car (and color) but am I the only one hating the white “08” on the doors? I think if they’d been painted the same bronze-ish as the dreamlines, it would look a million times better/classier.
