  • Foraging, the practice of seeking out wild food resources, has become more popular in the culinary scene and among the public in recent years. Phil Manganaro is a chef who hand-picks 200 different ingredients every year for his restaurant Park Place, a fine dining establishment in Merchantville, N.J. On this foraging excursion, Manganaro and fellow forager Keara Giannotti (executive director of Camp Creek Run, a 50-acre camp and nature preserve in Marlton) harvested huckleberries, wintergreen and sheep sorrel.

You think he could have worn a better shirt... Maybe he's been hitting the wild mushrooms too hard.

Maybe he wore what was comfortable for foreging in dirt. Why would he want to mess up a good shirt. He isn't dressing to impress anyone. He's doing his job.
