Looks like there are hip pockets also. Just got mine with the knee protectors, hard to find the internal pocket believe it or not. Weird that mine came with the knee protectors and now everywhere I look for the hip protectors are sold out 🤦🏻‍♂️ Great review, I’m subscribing now !!

Had a guy coming at me on the dragon US 129 and go down doing about 35mph. He slid about 30 feet mostly on his backside. He wasn't wearing jeans but full leather riding pants and jacket. He got up with no scratches or road rash. So you have to make the decision is it worth spending the money on quality protective gear or not.

I am glad to see you reviewing protective jeans, however they are only minimal protection. I would like to see you review more serious technical riding gear that can protect against impact! Such as airbag jackets and vests with built in armor and back plates for spinal/neck protection. Such as, Alpinestars, Helite and Spidi products. Thank you for bringing up this very important topic. Take care!

I don't get the low-rise waist for motorcycle riders. I don't know too many bikers bitching about how motorcycle jeans aren't stylish because of the lack of a low rise waist, lol.

Why hasn't anyone come out with a pair of riding Jean's or regular Jean's that have a zipper around the leg area? That way when you get to destination and its warm, you can unzip the pant legs off? Down here in south Florida it gets pretty warm

Hey Ryan, have you tried the defender jeans by Diamond Gusset? They're a gusseted jean with Kevlar (which they now call a flexible woven fiber) for about $135.00. I've worn their regular gusseted jeans for years and the gusseted crotch makes them extremely comfortable when riding and getting on and off the bike.

Hey Ryan thanks for another great review. From your reviews I've purchased the rokker jeans and the Olympia rain gear. Jeans are super comfortable. Rain gear kept me bone dry in a heavy rain storm. Do you have any experience with overpants? Could you recommend or do a review? Thanks again, safe riding.

Ryan Urlacher My 40 years of lower half riding gear includes: Wranglers $25 and Cowhide chaps $30. Have literally saved my azz twice in 55mph+ highway slides. Only injury was on my palms- leather gloves just gave way the one time. No need for anyone to spend $400 on yuppie jeans. JMHO. Safe riding!
