Blowing the Bloody Doors Off - Hagerty's Italian Job

- Опубліковано 24 тра 2019
- The Mini is 60-years-old this year, the Italian Job is 50 and its producer Michael Deeley is the guest of honour at the Stowe speech day, home of Hagerty's Festival of the Unexceptional. How can Hagerty mark the occasion? In the way that only they know how! Here's our tongue-in-cheek celebration of the Italian Job's famous chase scene, filmed for us by the wonderful Petroleum & Co. Enjoy!

Mr.Bridger: "We've come here to pay our respects to Great Aunt Nellie. She brought us up properly and taught us loyalty. Now I want you to remember that during these next few days. I also want you to remember that if you don't come back with the goods, Nellie here will turn in her grave, and, likely as not, jump right out of it and kick your teeth in."
This is the single greatest italian job tribute ive ever seen. Really captured the originals vibe. Fantastic!
Also, as a student its bloody hilarious
as a ex student its hilarious too innit
@@user-fb3hx3vr6o absolutely! Infact I just bought a classic mini partially because of this :D
Too good. Now every time I jump in my little Red Cooper S I will think of this fantastic tribute to one of the best movies I ever saw!
This is what UA-cam was made for! One sees so much which is of 'questionable' worth on the net. I think this is possibly the Finest Thing I have ever seen - witty, beautifully photographed and with a real purpose to celebrate a real Event. Congratulations!
Paul Reichel agreed... UA-cam needs a cleanse in order to make room for more stuff like this!
Haha, I used to drive around Stowe School grounds in my youth but never to those extremes 😂😂 Flown over that bridge many a time, brilliant.
As an avid mini owner and life long mini lover this is bloody brilliant
Only Mr Bridger could have organised something so spectacular. Brilliant!
2:54 "Hurry up Dominic!"
This was absolutely fantastic! So good that it put a massive smile on my face! I can't believe I never saw this before but I'm so glad I did now! The choreography, the driving, the use of original music... all just brilliant! And just that perfect flavour of humour with taking the script instead of the gold!
What a fantastic bit of fun, well done to all involved and to whoever came up with the idea, I hope Michael Deeley enjoyed your efforts.
I will just go and get my MK3 Mini Cooper S out of the garage and take it for a spin!
In 1972 the mini was my first car, by 19, my friend an I had built from the ground up 3 mini's with a performance that would leave many a 1970's car behind. They were so much fun in those days and the girls loved them with wide wheel and spats. Done a lot of corting in a mini? The italian job was one of the films to see and this take on blowing the doors off is brilliant. Lovely mini's and well done.
Aw so glad no minis were harmed making the vid lol 😂😂
Except for the yellow one, the poor thing was crush by a tank off screen.
Iv really enjoy this video 👍 It’s better than the Italian job made in 2003
As with everything... Nothing beats the original !
to True iv got two classic minis old is gold 👍😁😎
A poke in the eye is better than the 2003 Italian Job 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
2003 version was junk
Brilliant! What a great homage to a wonderful film! Excellent, fun, and spirited. Cheers
This is wonderful tribute to the Mini.
Fantastic video to a piece of British 🇬🇧 motoring history and probably one of the best films of the time. Waiting for the coach to appear. 👏👏👍But a Bmw mini 🤔.
Nothing Sounds So Good as Those Engines Working Hard / The Revs are Incredible.
I REMEMBER SEEING THAT HAPPENING AT STOWE SCHOOL.
watching in Turin, having driven in over the Alps this morning (minus the Bull Dozer) - Leaving across the Po tomorrow with a chicken drumstick in my hand. This tribute is excellent and so well done. Congratulations.

Very well done! brilliant 👏
I was fascinated the first time I saw the Mini in the Italian Job. One day I saw a commercial that said, "you know you've always wanted one" I did. I've owned a Mini Highgate Convertible for 10 years. Even though I bought a new BMW I'm having a hard time parting with Mini. I know, I don't drive her anymore. It's time to find her a the right home. Mini heart break
They've done it sir! done what, Keats? The Job Sir!

I had a friend back in the mid 80s who had a 1275 cooper s. man that was fun to ride. just like a gocart. and even more fun on twisty roads, the more bends the better. i miss those days

YOU WERE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BLOW THE BLOODY DOORS OFF!!!- Michael Caine 1969
Brilliant recreation! We did this on bicycles when I was at Stowe! The Headmaster triumphs again!
Man Stowe sucks ass, made a bunch of friends but I could’ve done that for free at a pub rather than 40k a year, walletstealer is a dick of a headmaster
Nice one! Love the Cooper S's.
4:06 what the heck?
lol
Bogfinken my thoughts too!
Thats cracking..
Shame you didn't direct the remake. The direction and choreography of this is very good.
Minis with actually working brakes? How‘s that possible?
Not real Cooper S's, single petrol tanks. Cracking film though.
Chuffin awesome job
Soy fan de italian job
Watched the movie when I was a lad...So so thought that crime life was so cool..😁
There is an editing mistake at 2.08. The red one does a J turn, then the next clip, the mini is backward again.
I was going to ask whether that was Stowe before I checked the description.
This is further conclusive proof, as if any were needed, that only proper nutters go to Stowe - albeit very creative ones ;)
very nice
So we'll done Mr Bridger would be so pleased
Loved my Mini couldn't afford a Mini Cooper never mind a Cooper S. Brilliant film.
I usually keep my good exam papers in a drawer, but my bad ones end up a bit like the ones in 4:56
Is that caslhowerd road in Yorkshire 👍
Brilliant video 👍
Stowe school in Buckinghamshire lovely place to film a brilliant video
why did a modern mini show up suddenly
