    Very nice explaination . But I perceive benefits of this muscle stretching for longer time this way. Our muscle fibres you imagine like a long clothe. If wet clothes are stretched twisted fast and released fast water from clothes or stagnant blood / toxin from the muscle fibres does not take place, so to improve the effectiveness of asanas atleast three times to be repeated. 1 St time very slowly body should move from neutral position to final position and stay in that position up to say 70-80,%of capability. Second time you stay in final position to your 110% capability. This 5-10% extra is depending upon your age/ physical condition. Third time will be performed after taking rest for 70% of capability as a cool down approach only
