My thoughts on why Stollis has been unfaithful to his wife is probably because the whole thing was arranged. Being in a noble heritage they were arranged in marriage. Whole royal bloodline kind of deal. He probably only agreed because it comes with the territory. He doesn't truly love her, but he definitely loves his daughter. She seems angry not because she's jealous, but she fears what the other royals will think of Stollis f'ing around with Blitz'o. A common f'ing imp she refers him.
