- The Rocky Mountains: Ray Mears
Season 2
Episode 2
Part 1
The Rocky Mountains are a stunning sight to behold, but also a place where knowledge of how to stay warm, well fed and safe from bears can prove vital. Understanding and determination are the keys that unlock this wilderness.
Worth watching just for the match-striking tip at 5:45.
Bear is gives good advice on how to get out of a bad situation, for example when you're lost in the middle of nowhere and what to look for to find civilisation, however I agree with you, a mixture of knowledge from all three people can be extremely useful.
Low-key just raving the whole time to that jungle dnb
Legend!
Hello, thanks you do much ! For all things you teach , actually it is right time to use this survival stuff. Thanks again
Blimey look how slim ray was then, clearly his bush skills are spot on, he hasn't cracked any hollow nuts from that time to this😂
Shout to the jungle massive!!!! Riddim!!°!
I know it's been 2 years since you wrote this but I must say that I TOTALLY AGREE. *thumbs up*
i fucking loce ray mears soundtracks, always the best electronic music
+Clarke
His favorite music has gotta be "JUNGLE"; lol
+40footgiantowl agreed, he's got a Boards of Canada track featured on this one I believe
Clarke no you need acoustic guitar not this computer bullshit
fuck your guitar, rave on with Ray!
Looks like a decent wind could do quit a bit of damage to this shelter? Also if the wind changed direction wouldn't the rain just blow straight in?
Anyone else appreciate the absolutely breath taking views in this video?
Apparently not.
"12 inches of snow fell on what seemed like an [english term] summer's day." ... in july. That's CRAZY. Wouldn't think of bringing my snowboard to catch some fresh pow when I'm heading up into the rockies for some camping in the middle of summer lol
i love living in BC Canada :)
well i did for 18 years lol now im an Albertan
thats a fantastic shelter
welcome to the canadian wilderness :)
Some sound would help....
The sound is back
WOW THANKS RAY MEARS NOW I KNOW WHAT TO DO IF MY MATCH SNAPS IN HALF.
Seriously... DO NOT go hiking in the back country if you cant light a match that snaps in half lol...
Survivorman is more entertaining, but Ray covers all bases. Just wish he'd throw in more backstory or something
Cool, but with lean-to's like this, doesn't the rain have to fall straight down? Seem's any wind will blow it in. Cool vid!
ray is the man when they zoomed into the fire at 7.00 you can almost feel the heat +can you tell me where you downloadted them thanks
Ray is the man, all others are posers.
I really like both Ray Mears, Les Stroud and Grylls. I dont understand why people dislike gryllls and says he isnt the real deal. How is 3 years in the SAS, climbing Everest at age 23 and crossing the arctic NOT the real deal?
He gave himself a bird poo enema
Looks like it's near Yoho
rave mears junglist badboy
that's bushcraft and using ur environment to help you nothing says you have to have a tent and sleeping bag and the little bit of wood he used will be growing back by next summer
Awesome isn't it.Anyone know where this location is?
It looks like Kananaskis country in Alberta.
Why were the fish dead when he got them out?
Wow. People arguing over who's legit in the outdoors. Ray, Les, or Bear. What a surprise.
Where did he find grasshoppers in late fall? Somethings fishy here.
-50 ? or -15 ?
how does the fire not spread to his shelter
Sucks the show has not continued.
aHigher Power right):
Damien Scully
Ispycameltoe
He said -50
Ray, to build a shelter you cut down a whole forest!!! You supposed to be a hiker, well I don't know any hiker without a tent and a sleeping bag
1 dislike from Bear Grylls
Yeah, no kidding.
He's acting like fire poles aren't a thing.
No sound?
I do
Just carry a bunch of bic lighters.forget the matches.
On January 26, 1700 one of the world's largest earthquakes occurred along the west coast of North America. The undersea Cascadia thrust fault ruptured along a 680 mile length, from mid Vancouver Island to northern California in a great earthquake, producing tremendous shaking and a huge tsunami that swept across the Pacific. Following this, many indians migrated to Colorado, but the legend of the wave never died. I'm BSing, but that earthquake happened I just looked it. Good question tho
Sound
if it was 1080p id jizz
Ispycameltoe Tyler Hofer
What people mean is his show! what you see on tv is not what bear Grylls would actually teach you in real life and what bear does on tv is not what you want to do In a survival situation! ,im sure discovery channel is to blame. discovery is gone to shit anyway.
Why do you think Bear doesnt respect nature? Arguments, please.
No sound, pointless upload unless your deaf or hard of hearing.
If only someone could help you with your spelling and grammar. :-)
