Slamming Brutal Death Metal is composed of mostly slams with some Death Metal song structures. Deathcore is just generic Death Metal with generic breakdowns. Though, people are often confused between Slam and Deathcore. It just takes some knowledge of the difference between the two genres to clear up confusion.

There are differences.
Slamming Brutal Death Metal is just Deathcore that completely stole the imagery of Goregrind while incorporating practically no influence musically. It's usually played by wiggers and it's almost always got SICK FUCKIN BASS DROPS added to it.
Deathcore is a mix of Metalcore and Death Metal that's mainly played by effeminate adult males who hate emos despite having so much in common with them, especially when it comes to the "crazy" ex-girlfriends and "I just fucking hate this world" attitude.
