What a lovely memory with your grandmother. Yes I add potato but not too much as potato works as a binder and too much would make it a heavy soup ( but you already know that 😍) I also keep some flowerettes apart and lightly steam those and add to the soup before serving. Like to have them in the soup lovely bright green and with a bit of crunch. Yes, those birthday facts were surprising. Cool to know though. What a lovely memory with your grandmother. Yes I add potato but not too much as potato works as a binder and too much would make it a heavy soup ( but you already know that 😍) I also keep some flowerettes apart and lightly steam those and add to the soup before serving. Like to have them in the soup lovely bright green and with a bit of crunch.
