That's the best video I've seen on this from the inside of the stove. I also have an Osburn 2400. Did you mention how you removed the baffle side holders that you re-installed at 14:40? Are they screwed in? Edit: I just removed mine. Those side baffle holders are just sitting in there. No screws.
Thanks so much! Yeah, I'm pretty sure those baffle holders just sit in there with no fasteners. Sorry I skipped over that but I would have definitely explained if there were screws to remove. Thanks for your feedback! Always looking to improve.
@@MechanicSecrets Thanks for the reply. I ended up making a chimney cleaning video of my own using a rotary tool and mentioned/linked to your video. I covered the side baffle holders but didn't show much other detail about the stove part of the process since you covered it so thoroughly in your video.
Awesome video, thanks so much! We have the Matrix 2700, installed brand new in 2022 with a new flue so we have one season of use. Getting ready to burn this year, do we need to clean annually, or every X years? Last year's wood was pretty dry, under 18% moisture content. Thanks for any advice.

I think national fire prevention states once a year or after 4 full cords of wood. That can be looked up. I do it once a year.
i have an Osburn 2200 insert, that thing bareley leaves anything in the chimney its basically just ash
