Great video, thank you.😊
TY Maureen! This helps tremendously! It will a video I save! There are many patterns I need to resize up to at least a Queen. After-all, how many dozens of lap quilts and wallhanging does one need!?😜
Just returned from the Huston International Quilt Show and found Deb Tucker busy in her booth!! Yes! Got the demos and got the rulers with a couple of huge hugs from Deb💕🧵🤣🤣 I looked for you but wasn’t able to find you. Maybe next time🥰
Thank you for another great video. I would of done the math wrong, would of doubled . Thanks for showing the right way.
Thank you for helping us be better quilters! Now if you can help us figure out the fabric yardage adjustments when we reduce or enlarge a block pattern, that would be helpful, too!
Thanks, the maths can be but doesn't have to be intimidating! 🤔🤗
Thanks for your explanation. Would you be willing to do a video on the ups and downs of working with flannel?
Thanks for your explanations and clarification on resizing, I appreciate this video 🥰 !
Love the Maureen! Quilty math.❤
I love your common sense approach for resizing blocks/quilts. Thanks for sharing without actually stepping on someone else's toes but instead clarifying what they said. We all think/learn differently.
You really have good explanations. Thanks so much!
Oh that pesky math! Your information is so helpful! I almost always want to reduce the size of my quilts. I don't like to make large ones because I do most of my quilting on my domestic machine and if the quilts are too big, it's too much of a challenge for me. I stay with lap or throw size, so quite often I need to size down the patterns.
I love your videos.
❤
You multiply by 4 when doubling a block because it is two dimensional. You are doubling the width and the length.
Quilt math is tough.
