    Compressor is fixed, nail gun is healthy, weather is awesome and a helper “come lately”......let the games begin! I am looking forward to another build.

    It is an unsaid rule in framing when two or more houses are built next to each other on who can build it the cleanest and quickest. Speed usually causes people to cut more corners then they normally would.

      yes,I am also a retired carpenter and it is nice watching other people work, but as you probably know is that you still have to keep moving even after retirement...take care.

      here in NY in Queens its just like this, some houses even closer, about 36" apart. Like a hallway.

    The help showing up late just goes to show why he likes working alone. Don't have to depend on anyone and you aren't stuck waiting on someone else so you can get the job done

    Nail gun with a hose? I'm still using them. Good to see you have help on this one. Specially with the 2 other crews along side you. Should be fun to watch. Suspenders are your friend. Also like the Duluth Trading Clothing brands for work.

    Those builds are so close together it's hard to tell what crew is where
    Although this is going to be fun to watch...Don't let speed become a priority over safety, especially for your helper.(but I'm sure you know that)

      It will be poured after the plumbers install the pipes for the basement bathroom.

    How does strapping hold the floor from lift up? Via rim boards?

      аралтан манджиев straps are under the wooden ladder in the concrete so when they are hanger nailed to the rim board and the tomb board is nailed
      To the joists and toe nails to the ladder on the buck as well it all hold it ok

    Is that a mastercraft framing gun? If so that’s the one I picked up on sale for $99.

      I might be wrong but I believe that is a Duofast. We use Hitachi stick and coil framers. We have the models that were still made in Japan. They last a mighty long time.

      @@briancrisler6660 That is the mastercraft one that goes on sale every couple months. That blue and the white Mastercraft on the side gives it away. I paid $110 for mine...the sales vary the price but I haven't seen it at $99 for a long time.

      @@dh66 Cool, thanks for the info. I have never heard of Mastercraft. The only blue guns that I have seen are the Duofast nailers. We used Senco in the early 90's then switched to a combination of Max and Hitachi and finally exclusively Hitachi. They are some tough guns.
