Can this be configured via hik-pro and sent to the end user to work on hik-connect? Does it have the option to be hardwired and can it be added to a recorder like the previous versions?
can't be hard wired. Hardwire is only to use your main chime. no hardwire charge option available.
Can it connect to alexa echo show? When it pressed can it show automatically on echo show and talk it back?
Like to update the db1 to 5mp and no battery will that be possible?

Had a DB2 for a day, chime got really hot and disappointed that it does not support ONVIF and RSTP. Also, no way to pump the volume up or down (chime). Must say that vid quality was excellent. Returned it because firmware updates did not start, probably my IOT network has to many restrictions :(
How many years is the rechargeable batteries last and when they die out completely can they be replaced with new rechargeable batteries or will the doorbell be no good anymore
Great product so far. However is there a way to extend the Post Record Time to Memory Card from the PIR Alarm. When I playback the video never seems to last long enough and people are still at door when the playback stops. If anything were to happen this is then not captured.

i am having a lot of trouble getting my doorbell to connect to the internet i had it connected with a lot of hassle for about two weeks and had to unplug the chime to move it and now i cant connect it at all on any device i have i even changed my router to only broadcast 2.4ghz and still no joy i think i will be sending it back. Have you any idea what could be happening.

Could you please inform me about the maximum distance in meters between the outside doorbell bottom itself & the antenna, which should be inside the house for interfacing. Thank you.

It has worked when I did it , suggested is the EZviz app , and moving forward it might not be supported by HIK-Connect

Can we add this to a Hikvision nvr like you did with db1? Issue is I can only get the chime IP address?
the battery one you cant add , as its battery it would try to pull the stream continually and the battery would not last long
Hi. I was hoping to add this to my NVR. I have a battery ready to wire up that will last 2-3 weeks and be rechargeable from inside. So just need an overnight charge every 2 weeks. I have tried to add the bell separately from the chime like you advise with the DB1. But it won’t work. Assuming as the verification code is for the chime not the doorbell. Is there anyway of getting the verification code or getting it to work. I should have read the comments on here first before buying the DB2.
@@DanMc0048 we have had it working but its really not recommended or stable , let me see if it can be improved

A borrowed info from an IPCAMTALK's thread, someone suggested the DB2 Pro supports neither ONVIF nor RTSP.
I am hoping to validate this before purchasing, too!

How do you find it with moving tree's branches?
It's based on human detection but very good , sometimes I do get some dogs detected by my door , but I ma ok with that 😊
