    Thank you for your service! I love to see the Allis Chalmers still being used. They are still my favorite brand. I grew up on a chicken farm and we did row crop corn and soy beans, through the years we have run models C,CA,WD,WD-45, all of the D series except D 21, Gleaner F and K, I still use a 160 w/460 loader and a 5050. Keep the Orange alive. May GOD bless you in your service and farm!

    First off , Thank you for your service ! And Zach sent me ,but love everything your doing . How come you can't get farm fuel delivered to the farm ? My dad worked for AC in La porte,IN back in the 50's still a few in my area .

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  4 роки тому

      Thank you for being an American worth fighting for, and Zach is an awesome guy. We can get fuel delivered but since we only keep 250 gallons at our farm at a time it costs us more to have it delivered. Secondly it is cheaper by about 30 cents per gallon for normal diesel compared to red dye farm diesel to buy it just outside of ft wood. That allows me to put it in my truck that too.

  • @brinkme1772
    @brinkme1772 4 роки тому

    On the AC 5020, if tracking hours is more of a concern than actually having a tachometer, I'd recommend just a run of the mill hour meter and oil pressure switch ... probably put one together for less than $50.

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  4 роки тому +1

      That will work! I didn't even think about that. I could actually run one off ignition source so it only counts hours when the ignition is on! Thank you for the idea!

    • @brinkme1772
      @brinkme1772 4 роки тому +1

      @@FreedomFarmsMo 10-4 that'll work too. Couple of reasons why I mentioned the oil pressure switch is that in case the key gets left on or if the 5020 has a "pull kill" and the key switch gets turned off while using it, but the tractor is still running.

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  4 роки тому +1

    I have never heard of anyone changing the hydraulic oil every 200 hours... why so often, is Fluid analysis says that's when it breaks down

    • @FreedomFarmsMo
      @FreedomFarmsMo  4 роки тому +1

      It may seem like a short time frame but the service manual says 250 hours or annually. At the end of the day 25 gallons of hydraulic fluid and 2 filters cost me roughly $200. That is substantially cheaper than a hydraulic pump which is $4500-6000 to rebuild plus the headache of not having the tractor when needed.
