Ive always been obsessed with the braids black people do And since my parents wouldve never been able to afford them for me and the only afro hairstylist in town looked at me like "tf you doing here white girl"... Well i watched alot of tutorials and did alot of braiding on myself I am so impressed with how you did her hair It absolutely seems like it is so much easier to do on super curly texture hair because mine is slippery af and really wants to do whatever it wants. So hard to get everything neat and stay in place and hold the tension. You did amazing!!!
Braiding hair, any hair type, is an art! You are an artist! That child is blessed to have you in her life and you have been blessed with the spirit of service to others! I love your channel!
I used to work at salons, I always specialised in braids. Usually I got black clients but one day I got a white girl with extremely straight hair. I figured I could deal with it like relaxed hair, I'm not gonna lie to u , it was a disaster. Little strands sticking out everywhere😢. I learned u can't deal with all textures the same way. This is beautiful thou
I'm a white mom with white kids.. it truly it frustrating lol I watch braiding videos and I'm like... Mm that would never work with our hair. I try to do cool braids but usually stick to pigtail braids.. plus I don't want to get told I'm appropriating something which is always a stress to me
yeah white hair and asian hair often is so slippery, so its hard to keep it from slipping out as you go and having pieces stick out everywhere. thats why a lot of white braided hairstyles are seemingly 'loose' on purpose to give that illusion that its on purpose
@@Goldenretriever-k8m note also that straight hair is often thin and lacks volume because of no texture, so the "loose on purpose" look also gives the hair volume that 3-4 hair doesn't really need. It's not just to hide the flyaways. (In any case the flyaways are unavoidable, keep the same braid for a whole day and it will get more and more messy, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way).
I have fine hair like this little girl and I use water to style as well. Inside out french braids in two rows down the back, parted in the center, are pretty easy and look nice on my texture hair. first learn to french braid two braids down your head, then just flip the procedure so instead of taking hair and going over the braid you're making, you bring it under. so it stands up like a braid instead of the gathers you see in french braiding.
My hair is exactly like hers in color and texture, and I struggle so badly to braid it at all because it slides everywhere. Thanks for being so kind and patient. 💜
Beautiful style and beautiful little model. Your very talented. I wish I had long hair, I'd get it done like that all the time. That style would be lovely for a bride, with the heart shape and maybe a few little flowers or little pearls in the hair................I'm just dreaming here lol. Liz from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 ♥
You did such a good job. It looks so good. The fact that you were able to do this without drenching her hair in water ever 3 minutes, A+++ professional!
How i wish we could have been friends when my daughters were young! I was blessed with 3 daughters (white) who all had gorgeous long, thick straight hair. I lack the skills and dexterity to more than ponytails or a regular hanging braid in the back, or one on each side. It's like my brain knows what to do but my fingers refused to do what they were told 😂 I'm insanely jealous of people with your skills and talent, you're amazing! I saw a video of you doing your daughter's hair, what beautiful and healthy hair and scalp. It's obvious you know your stuff!
This is similar to my kids'hair texture, and I have to admire your dexterity working with the teeny tiny starting pieces of those braids. I cannot keep hold of them and get them started properly when I start that small. It is so "crawly" and slides right out of my hands. My kids always get chunky braids without fine detail. Great skill and expertise!
She is so pretty with this style. The fact that she wanted it says alot about you auntie. Bless you for taking the time to do it.,,Not everyone has the patience.

Love it! I am not good with Dutch braids. I did a similar French racer braid top and bottom for my niece several years ago for her school dance. She loved it. It was not a heart, it was a top racer French braid meeting a lower racer French braid pulled together to one side. My niece also has to ton of hair and pin straight. I love braiding her hair. I love this braid in the heart shape, I would even love it if it was just a crown braid I think, love your technique so beautiful!
I have been doing all kinds of braids on my hair since I was a child. It is only recently that I added any kind of oil to the braids, probably inspired from videos like this or more textured hair. The results are fantastic. Can’t wait to try something like this on my granddaughter! Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow, she sat so well. You are so gifted ❤
She is a Doll and I know she will forever love this hair experience
Ive always been obsessed with the braids black people do
And since my parents wouldve never been able to afford them for me and the only afro hairstylist in town looked at me like "tf you doing here white girl"...
Well i watched alot of tutorials and did alot of braiding on myself
I am so impressed with how you did her hair
It absolutely seems like it is so much easier to do on super curly texture hair because mine is slippery af and really wants to do whatever it wants. So hard to get everything neat and stay in place and hold the tension.
You did amazing!!!
Braiding hair, any hair type, is an art! You are an artist! That child is blessed to have you in her life and you have been blessed with the spirit of service to others! I love your channel!
She did soo well! You are an artist! Absolutely beautiful!
Getting ones hair done in any style or method they choose should be an enjoyable experience shared by all. ❤❤
I just know all them babies loved it. So beautiful.
I braided a white friend’s hair back in college. What did I use? Water. It helped.
Nice 😍 and she's so cute 🥰💜
My hair is exactly like hers in color and texture, and I struggle so badly to braid it at all because it slides everywhere. Thanks for being so kind and patient. 💜
Heart melting. Love this. Such a wonderful thing you did for the littles. Beautiful hairstyle ❤
This is adorable! I think its neat that she can wear it a few days in too before she has to take it out.
It’s a work of art - so beautiful and mesmerizing to watch you create this! ❤
Way too cute. She's beautiful with her braids❤
❤❤❤
You did such a good job. It looks so good. The fact that you were able to do this without drenching her hair in water ever 3 minutes, A+++ professional!
This lil baby is soooooo happy right now! 🤩
One word! Beautiful ❤️
Thank You! 💗
She sat SO well! And looked so sweet at the end, love it!
Que belleza de niña! !!! quedó super linda !!!!! abrazo desde Uruguay
You executed that style perfectly! This lil cutie did a fantastic job, too… she is adorable!💖
She is beautiful with that sensational hair style you gave her! Great job with silky crazy moving hair!
OMG why was I almost tearing up watching this? She is adorable and such a BIG GIRL!!! So Pretty. Did she like it
Awww she loved it! Thank You!
She's beautiful. Her hair is so pretty!😍

Yes she did! ☺️
So sweet! I love how good and patient your little friend is.
You are so versatile in your craft. You never cease to amaze me! You made her even more beautiful. She's an absolute doll! Also, I had been meaning to ask you what your actual name was because I figured Duchess was just your business name. Idk, I just like to address people by their name. Lol. Keep these magnificent videos coming, love. I'm HERE FOR IT! Do you hear me?!!🙌🏼💪🏽❤️🔥🤗😘😘😘
It’s Nicole and Thank You so much! 💗
I can't wait until my daughter's hair grows out enough so I can do this! Fabulous work and just an amazing person!! And all the kids' you've styled are absolutely adorable!!!!!!
How adorable!! This would be a beautiful hair design for a flower girl! ❤
That’s a beautiful style, love watching you work. You’re very talented ❤
Beautifully done & effortless execution
Auntie giving her a special day is a memory she will cherish as she grows up.
I am too young to have a child, I am too young to have a child, I am too young to have a child-
She is so precious! Now I want a daughter to give heart braids to! These kids are so lucky to have you as their Auntie :)
You really have some skills!! Her hair is so beautiful and she's beautiful too!! Great job!!!

She is beautiful and I love the way you did her hair ❤
That little girl is a doll and you got talent with those nails.
Beautiful hairstyle Duchess u nailed it again girl❤
I don't style my hair, but I love watching your videos. They're relaxing and full of love and care and I can't thank you enough for making them. How sweet that you have a cute growing younger set of fans cheering you on and watching too!❤️
i came across your channel a few months back and i just want to say you are so so talented and all of your braiding looks so perfect!😘💕
This is such a princess hairstyle for any little girl!
You did a fantastic job
I can’t grip my daughter’s hair like this this style is beautiful and it’s magical how her hair was able to come together like that!!!!
She's so pretty! Beautiful style 🥰
I have been doing all kinds of braids on my hair since I was a child. It is only recently that I added any kind of oil to the braids, probably inspired from videos like this or more textured hair. The results are fantastic. Can’t wait to try something like this on my granddaughter! Thanks for the inspiration.
This was awesome 👍! Being able to do different textures of hair is truly a gift!😊😊😊😊😊
