It was time to unleash the true noise of the Audi S5's 4.2 V8. The exhaust did not disappoint, just from this cheap modification it has transformed the noise of the car. The auto box allows the exhaust to crack pop and bang during gear changes ... what more can you want?

is go in south,in summer,with that exhaust,it can melt the back bumper.
even if is ugly,the pipe need 3-5 cm extension.it will smell in the summer,in the city,bumper to bumper traffic.
the last exhaust is also,like a cooler for the heat engine gases.

@@ibtixgaming7168 I've owned an e55, so much torque, great straight line speed and very reliable. Just dont expect it corner until you lower it, then its a little bit better.

Takalani Thanyani no engine light. And like 7 months. It trumps most exhaust I hear. Can’t beat the raw v8 noise.
Good solution to your problem, without the need to replace the whole exhaust. Also the workmanship is fantastic, great to see you showcasing so many companies.

When I was young they use to say you were not a true car lover until you had owned an Italian sports car. Thankfully, I owned a Lancia Beta 2.0 Coupe for several years and absolutely loved it. Now, with a market saturated in small capacity turbos and hybrid engines, I think we should redefine a car lover as someone who owns a bonkers V8 and shamelessly enjoys every second of it. Which is why I now own an S5 V8. It's not a question of how fast it is (many turbo set ups are quicker), it is a statement to eco warriors and pearl-clutchers that they can't squeeze all the fun out of life.
I bought s5 cause of this video, I fuxking love it. Can't even listen to my radio anymore cause I just want hear the roar. Its so addictive. Turns heads everywhere.

I did a muffler delete on my TT and it sounds SO MUCH BETTER. You are right Mat, downshifting becomes fun. Getting onto a highway becomes fun. Running up through the RPMs is amazing.

I have an 03 S6 (C5) Avant with the NA 4.2 V8 which I bought 90% for the sound and I love it! Can't get enough of tunnels, might need to get the back boxes off because this sounds unreal!

Where did you get the RS5 bumpers for it; the pre-refresh V8 S5 is one of my favorite car's of all time, and I'd still consider getting one in the future. But would want the RS5 front & rear end (while keeping the S5 badges). Gorgeous car, and gorgeous sound.

The original 4.2 s5 and rs5 are some of the best sounding cars on the planet the note from that amazing v8 is just awesome unfortunately they are very difficult to tune so your pretty limited in what you can do with them but opening up the exhaust so you can hear it is going to make whoever has it now smile every time they drive it until they get pulled for the noise, unfortunately we live in a society that has very strict rules about exhaust noise .

Much better man. Take that center resonator out and put in an x-pipe. That’s one of the best sounding v8 engines ever made. Let it breathe. Won’t be much louder than it is now but it will sound even better.
