The current design of the game really hinders snowballing, you get very little benefit nowadays from killing the opposing laners. Controlling wavestates and doing a 3 wave slowpush into towerdive seems to be the best possible outcome as far as getting ahead in lane. It seems that preventing the other from getting resources (primarily xp) is more important than getting ahead if that makes sense
That would mean that snowballing is MORE viable. If you barely gain an advantage from killing your opponent, then it's much more likely that the game will go on for a longer period of time. If that's true, then champions that scale would be more viable (Assuming what you're saying is true)
@@theomaid I always thought snowballing was when you get a kill and from there you get more and more from that first kill. Playing scaling is very strong right now, but I think a lot of people don't realize renekton (in this video for example) hard scales to from his 3 items (BC, sundered sky, eclipse) and doesn't fall off anymore like he used to. If anything in this game I think renekton probably scales harder than chodath nowadays
Is it my phone? Or does the video seem like it's about to change quality? Like it appears to slow down all through the video as if it's going to go down in picture quality... like a quick lag spike.
I used to play him in season 9- 10. I used to build him as tank/mage. There was this 1 item that I LOVED getting, it sent 2 ghosts 👻 to fly around and slow an enemy
It is, that guy pushed 1st wave into a champ that has to push to cs (cho q) where he could have froze lvl 2, never did short trades off of Cho q timer and hardly ever empowered W combo'd. He left a ton of damage on the table early game (and he brought dorans shield over blade, probably autofilled)
I used to play this match up a lot in diamond. The Renekton has a huge advantage until the Cho buys armor. Idk if armor boots are still sufficient though
@theomaid I mean I guess that's fair but with eclipse, BC, Bork the armor kinda doesn't matter especially if you end up down 3 levels lol. Cho has a 36% win rate against renekton lol.

New death timers, teleport, and bounty system make snowballing via kills really difficult.
You're a titan cameraman, SRO
😂
Don't know if you've touched on this already, but are you returning to arena ever?

Not in iron elo where SRO plays 90% of his UA-cam vids.
