One of the very rare guitar artists that is not predominantly focused on perfectly precisely performing the composition and remaining tense all along, but letting himself be carried away by the spirit and emotion of composition remaining perfectly calm and relaxed. To me that is the virtue of all great musicians. Pleasure to watch and listen. Hands down! Any chance of visiting Australia (Brisbane) any time soon Petrit? Big fan
Circus....? Ohh dear! Getting a bit over the top with the fake, acting posture and gestures, pedantic and fake to watch. Pero.. Its all an act and a prepaid gesture /posture /gesticulation, fake, hair brushes ect, ect. He probally does it in every concert he is not feeling it. It's just an act trust me. I know a few that do the same night after night. And just that everyone knows Paganini just to do all this too all fake gesticulation, hair brushes ect. Read his books..his assistant talks about it in his book. But he sounds really good a shame for the pedantic and totally 200 percent Circus fake act.
What the fuck are you talking about?? Time stamp what you’re talking about. What I saw was a genuine, flawless performance that maybe a handful in the world could replicate. Who cares if his faces look like he’s posturing? Considering the difficulty of the performance, I doubt he is doing anything but getting in his personal appropriate mindset and his facial affectations are mostly involuntary.
what you're observing is something that happens to many performers. the "romantic" explanation is that the performer gets carried away by the piece. the more rational explanation is that our fingers are an extension of our brains, just as our eyes and ears are, and because of that, there can be odd facial movements and tics because there is a kind of "brain massage" going on as the brain explores the fretboard through the fingers. Different performers react differently. I can tell you when I play Bach, especially certain preludes, I don't make face gestures, but I get an extraordinarily meditative feeling in which, as best I can explain it, it is like I am a horse plowing furrows in a field and I am feeling very fulfilled by the process. I imagine something like that happens to this performer.

Raimundo Antonio é porque você não conheça história da interpretação do período romântico.
@@BazzTriton aguado it's a late classic NOT romantic and yes it's a little too much of" an act "all the posture thing.
I don't understand your language but I agree with you whole heartedly
