I caught my first trouts ever yesterday 😂 but to be honest I don’t think I ever would have tried if it wasn’t for this channel and the short bus diaries
Congrats dude! Stoked for you.
Hell yeah bro!💪🏼
Sweet! Welcome to the habit.
Ehhhhhhhhh, that's sweet 👌🎣
That's awesome man
About 6 months ago I started watching your channel, over this long cold Utah winter I started getting gear ready piece by piece and watching videos on how to cast, what flies to use and other things like that. Today I went out and caught my first trout on a dry fly in Southern Utah. Thanks so much for the high quality videos you put out, Scotty. They’re truly inspiring!
Thank you for not disclosing where you fish. Keep the wilderness wild.
So sick, watching your trips really pushes me to plan my own (and maybe film them some time). 10/10 as always man, keep killing it
No film=better. Just be in the water.
I’m passed the phase of needing to catch a lot of fish, passed have to fill my fly box, but never will I be passed just having to see what’s around the next bend of river and exploring! Your videos are very spirited, thank you!
Love the intern thanking you for letting him sling a few, good stuff man keep it up
@WildFlyProductions it’s criminal that your videos don’t get more views than they do! Your content and editing are more professional than many big budget productions. Kudos to you and please don’t stop making content!!
Lifetime Utahn here playing the exact same game. Continually being driven higher and higher to find decent moving water. One of the Uinta's south slope streams came in clutch yesterday and saved me from fishing in a lake. Keep exploring!
For a second I was wondering if you got a camera man. That’s a great investment! More time fishing and getting to watch you a lot. Plus with the editing help you can crank out more videos. Chaching! Love you videos man
That catch on the long drift at around 15:40 was killer!
Love watching these while I'm working. It's an escape and a small glimpse into adventure while smashing numbers into systems. Thank you for the great videos!
that opening shot of you casting from on top of the snow bridge supported solely by that tiny log, was SENSATIONAL.
That Martin reel made me as happy as the play
Nice Vid as always. It's been a couple of years since I fished those streams. Both are unique.
I love your work guys, keep on keeping it reel! Sick streamside action! Hat's off on more epic journeys ahead!
Another great video! I've got it going while I pack for a fishing trip. Thanks for sharing another awesome adventure!
Thanks for the videos man. They’re always the best part of a tough day.
You guys rock
Can’t wait to see the new gear, great video as always! Definitely another great trip….
Tony's is amazing seasoning! I use it on EVERYTHING! Awesome video's man! I really enjoy them and they are building my excitement for this year's fishing!
I must say I am so envious. You guys are living the life!
Dude that opening shot you've got me sweating bullets! I don't want to tell yall off on the internet, I'm sure yall were safe and do your thing, but if I was standing on snow like that I'd be so anxious!
Atta boys! What a great internship Sam!
I enjoy these videos a lot. The Podcast is great as well. Nice work. 🤝✊🏻🤙🏻
I’ve got that same simms pack and absolutely love it
No bull trout but potential splake in that water. Great places to fish for sure.
Hey man love the video. Any new short bus content coming soon? Also I'm sure you get offered this all the time but if you guys need help with the bus remodels lmk. I am local to SLC and done a lot of work in the trades. Keep up the good work!
love the videos you guys are amazing
Tony Chachere's is good on anything.. very complete seasoning. Anytime fishing with runoff is very tuff. As always really beautiful film making.. Your videos are more like films than videos. You do not disappoint 👍👍
such a good work filming and making intersting content. well done and keep going!
Would be great to hear more about the flies, tactics and tackle your using for each video. Love your content. Also get over to Scotland!
quality of these videos...amazing 👀
Your filmer is a gangster! He got some dope shots! Ive been trynna fly fish Utah streams/rivers but have no luck, not that good at fly fishing but I will get there some day!
Of all the things in this world to get addicted to you boys made the right choice. Great video as always. Sending good vibes from Raleigh, NC.
Some of my best fishing on the Green was in a snow storm. BWO baby!!! Another great video.
Another great video as always, keep it up!
Awesome!
Awesome work! Got a fishing trip planned in a week! Facing the same dilemma, where in Utah is fishable water? This definitely motivates to do some searching, good water is out there.
Awesome Video as usual, SNOW IN MAY! ... nice get off on the bike, could have been worse.
Thanks for another great video man. Curious - any chance there is another short bus video in the works? Miss that crew and fishing style. You probably get peppered with ideas for future videos left and right (must get annoying) but the Short Bus series was so epic!!
Awesome stuff man, keep it up!
Can't wait to get out in the stream and just learn how to do this, I've bought a Lotta gear I think I need and some I jus wanted, still have a few more things to get while I finish up my work projects and then I'll be out n fishing, I live in the Florida Panhandle and most people say it's paradise and I can't argue about it, it really is but I wanna be in the mountains and punching holes in the Bucket List! 😂 love your videos kid you've come a long way, you should be proud! Keep it up! My favorite videos are Short Bus, Northern Natives and all in Montana and Idaho! Great Stuff!
Such a sick video!! The miles were put on an the search 4 fishable water was on an everything you guys did paid off an it was well deserved!! Some beautiful country 2!! Earned my sub!!! Hell of a job!!😎🤙🏼🔥
Deschutes in Oregon is looking the same. Waters real high and running straight chocolate milk.
The roads pretty clear up there?
Some spooky fish in that area!!!
This channel is amazing. Keep going bro
Another incredible video. Subscribed
I’m just getting into fly fishing and love your videos! I’ve Learned a ton! I did notice your water filter setup. Same I used to have. If you haven’t You should check out the Katadyn Befree. Super compact and extremely high flow rate. Game changer. Haven’t used the Sawyer since. Keep the videos coming!
Getting a van would make alot of sense for you! I do like the short bus though! Good job! Tightlines!
You need to do a video completing the Utah cutthroat slam. It would be awesome.
Good luck to the intern, pretty sick place to do it
This is a great video!!
Man, your videos are the best! I also produce fishing videos for UA-cam (used to, to be honest) and I know the effort to produce a quality video like yours. Congrats!

I love your vids so much dude. And how about that vibe? Nice. One of my bucket list achievement is to oe day, share a adventure with you.
This is SO COOL
29:22 that hole in the rock looks like a rabbit.
Love watching these! Are you willing to share where this is? I'm looking for some new places to fish in Utah while a lot of rivers are running too fast.
Ironic thing about an excellent water year... great for the fishery and health of the stream, but makes for tough fishing conditions while its happening.
I would love to fish with y’all brohemian beef patties, guarantee slay sessions
I was in salt lake early may seeing some friends. I went up through idaho by Boise and north and just about every river was blown out.
Chocolate milk in New Mexico. You can't go high enough. Class 5 boaters time a year

Gotta bring Daniel out more. Dudes a stoker!
Scottie, took a newbie up FR 192 so he could experience wild browns. Didn't see a fish. Carson and Lucas weighed in on pressure and drought. But damn this depressed me. Where I learned the craft about 40 years ago.
