HC&C make some fantastic soap. Their Hidden Goddess, whilst marketed as a ladies scent, is wonderful. Also, their Le Mafioso and Alpine Forest (fantastic mentholated soap).
Although the shave wasn't as good as it could have been, at least there were no mishaps, as is very easily done with that sizable blade gap. You and your mum have a great weekend, Mark.

oh yes that razor is vey nice . i can use it on 6 but have to be ultra careful that’s for sure. got my semog brush have to say very nice . got it in the fridge in water just to soften it up but have to say it’s did not seem to bad out the box 👍

Hi Mark. The razor formerly known as the Futur (ha!) is a clever bit of engineering for sure but not my favorite shaver. It's a bit of a challenge to work with that head and the aggression is more than I prefer. It's so unique that I'll want to always have one around for the novelty of it. I have the Qshave version also and it's a slightly better shave for my face. Thanks for another enjoyable video!

Hi Mark sorry for the late reply, I've only just watched the video, Black Afgano is indeed a premium fragrance it costs £130 for a 30ml bottle. So just so I get this right in my head the Merkur Futur is now the past Futur and Merkur 700002 is the present Futur. I wonder what the future Merkur Futur will be called.
Hello Mark, very nice shave looked very enjoyable. I'm considering my next DE razor since my 34c came to an end, I may go for another merkur as the quality is so good, I think the Futur may be a good choice for me. Today i had a vintage 6/8 straight shave with my Duke brush and palmolive creme in the bowl. Have a relaxing weekend. Best wishes Andy

Great shave Mark, I have the Ming Shi it is a good razor, HC&C have a good following and well respected, never tried a Merkur Futur always been a bit fearful of that razor take care and have a great weekend 😀👍
My favourites are the mild to medium. I do think my EJ89 is fabulous. I haven't shaved with my fat handled Tech for ages! Time to that right, soon. Cheers Warren.

I use the Futur only when I have 2 days growth or more but I absolutely love this razor. Great shave.
