I have a question have a 02 c240 im doing the exact same thing...so the immobilizer chip I'm trying to keep and transfer when i was desoldering it from the board one of the legs of the chip in the very corner of the chip broke off inside the chip I used a dremil to expose a little more of it to c if I can reattach it but am not sure if i can and not sure if chip is damaged now...what can i do now

If .not working get a ecu key igntion switch and steering lock all from one car and put then together it will work

If I have to replace the ecu on w203, C240,do i have only to use a v6 ecu or i can also use a nonv6 ecu ?
