Congratulations, this is a beautiful piece. I’ve been keeping my eye on it for quite some time there’s nothing in the price range that offers this many complications in a automatic movement. Great pick! Enjoy it.

I have this watch and it is my favourite. Value for money it is hard to beat. The movement is a Valjoux 7751 retro fitted with a column wheel actuated chronograph. The very best chronographs are column wheel. Mine keeps time to less than half a second per day. I put that down to the silicon hair spring. ETA makes this movement exclusive for Longines. The Valjoux 7751 is a tried and proven movement. It is basically bulletproof. The change from a cam actuated chronograph really puts this watch in a class of its own. No other watch brand can produce a watch with so many complications at such a fantastic price point. Also the movement can be serviced by any competent watchmaker. Congratulations on purchasing such a great watch. Great review as well.

Thats great looking watch. Congratulations. I just got the simpler version with a 42mm case and just the date (no other complications). It’s the first high-end watch I’ve owned. I love It.

Great choice. I really like the Moonphase addition. You will have to give split wrist time with your Seiko you recently reviewed

This is a nice watch indeed, but there are some weak points of its design.
First, it has a very crowded dial, which is very difficult to read while on the go, driving, for people with less-than-excellent eyesight, or in low-light conditions.
The seconds hand is almost invisible, and the day/month indicators are too small, too. The calendar information could be shown in a pair of 3 o'clock calendar windows instead. The dial would be much more readable then. There's a 42 mm version of this watch, which might be more easily readable. That being said, the size of the 40 mm case is more wearer-friendly and less obtrusive, although unfortunately the smaller dial is less readable.
The other problem is the potential servicing cost. If something happens to this complication piece, or even if only a simple internal cleaning is required, service costs can go up to several hundred, or even a thousand euros. It's worth considering these issues if you think about getting one of these timepieces.

Why comment on a watch that you don’t own! It is not at all difficult to read time on this.

@@dgdave2673 First of all, one can express one's opinion about anything, there's freedom of speech. I find your attitude rather arrogant and uncivilised. You cannot stop anyone expressing his or her opinion about a simple piece of sales item or commodity.
Second, I have more insight into this watch than you would think. My opinion is that the dial of the 40 mm version is very cluttered indeed, it's straightforward impossible to read, especially when driving or moving. But even with the 42 mm version, I have serious doubts about the readability of the second hand, for example, in lifelike conditions. There are too many numbers on its dial, and the date/24 hr numbers are too big, that is, they occupy too large portion of the dial. The shape of those numbers is not very refined either. Just look at the 9 o'clock region where the date figures intermingle with the 24 hour dial, that part is kinda confusing a little, isn't it? Wouldn't the 9 o'clock subdial be better if the second hand and the second subdial with the fewer numbers were larger? At the same time, the 24-hour subdial could be simplified to a simple day-night indicator, or something with fewer (or smaller) numbers than the existing design. These modifications would make the dial less busy and the second subdial much more readable. Along with this obvious design fault, the characters in the "day of the week" and "month" window are extremely and unreasonably small, very difficult to read, especially for a person who might be visually impaired. They could be a tad larger, surely. That would help those people who might want to read that data, instead of just showing off a complication watch. That's my opinion about the dial of that watch, even if you don't like it.
Internally it's a good, solid, but run-of-the-mill watch, with an upgraded ETA movement. The sheer number of its complications, and its relative low price make it special indeed, but its low price has a reason: poor face design. A lot of people are tempted to buy it by its large number of complications, but then a lot of potential buyers are repelled by its cluttered face. Its very low water resistance is also a negative point, but I guess, the idea behind that is that those people who put up with the clutter and buy the watch, don't need water resistance anyway, they just want to show off their fancy timepiece, that's all. Otherwise they'd go for one of the more practical Fortis models, for example. This year the design of this Longines Master complication was modified a little, but not to its great advantage, I'm afraid. And we are still not talking about servicing costs here. In case of a problem, this watch might need a factory service, which could set you back 1000 bucks easily.
