love that a young person let alone a male got into crocheting. love your videos.❤❤❤
The shoestring yarn I think would be great for a bath mat, placemats, baskets.
I may have to try a bath mat
Glenda and Cody, thank you so much for your support for the Premier Yarns Brand. Can't wait to see what you create with all this yarn!!! Love watching videos of both of you together!!!!
Would you like to open a store in the UK - please, pretty please!
Yes please open a store in the UK, really want to work with the yarns you have.
I love Premier Yarn, it's the only brand I purchase. Thanks for all that you do for us, Premier!
I don't buy yarn unless i have a project except for surprise boxes so ican see what unfamiliar yarns are Got thr yarn the customer service suggested to go with the red/silver bullet (sic) yarn to make my Christmas hostess aprons And now have to figure out how to do the pattern .Sometimes it really helps to have a diagram to construct, the pieces
I agree. I love the bond Glenda and Cody are making with each other. It's priceless!!
There is a gingerbread man with the bee!!! 😍❤
I wasn’t in a bad mood just didn’t give myself enough time to wake up 😂 Thanks for watching! Remember to drop a like and comment on the video 😘
That ribbon yarn makes amazing baskets! Because it is cotton, it stands up a bit better than acrylic does, and you have some great muted colors to integrate into cool patterns!
Love to see Cody crochet!!!
My son crochets - he is a doctor. When the other doctors read his resume, they thought he misspelled croquet as a hobby. When he explained that there was no misspelling they all laughed.
I think that the “shoestring “ yarn would make a nice sun hat.
You can make a purse or a basket with the shoe lace yarn. I bet a pillow would also be good.❤
Hi Glenda & Cody, I love the colorway on the Puzzle yarn. So pretty 💜😁
😂
CG:”open the bag so everyone can see it better”
Cody:”they can see it.”
😂😂😂
Cody, you better do what Grandma says and don’t back sass!
Haha i can't help myself! 😂
You and Cody crack me up. You and Cody are both a joy. Love your work, and of course Cody love your work too. Make my day a little brighter, like today with all this rain.
Love your posts. So glad Cody is helping you. Just remember you can't please everyone.
You are soooo BLESSED with your Grandson Cody😃
The "shoestring" yarn....baskets, or a bathroom mat. A satchel would also be good. Maybe even heavy hotpads or a centerpiece for a table.
That Natura cotton ribbon yarn is great for bags or baskets.😊
Thanks for showing your yarn purchase. Maybe, make a plant hanger with that shoestring yarn or a rug.
Im going to nake drying pads for the dishes with the Pampa yarn.
drying pads would also be great to make
I LOVE the Premier anti-pilling DK Batik - it's so soft and shiny!!! 😍
Ribbon yarn is great for scarves, rugs, totes and baskets - much like the t-shirt yarn
Also bowl cozies
I love that you and Cody are in the videos together sometimes.
Hi Glenda & Cody..Happy Monday
Like your channel verymuch. Both of you are very down to earth and real! Keep up your work and really appreciate the example so much❤
I love premier yarns.
Thank you for making this video. I'm wide awake at 1:15am with a bad sinus headache. Very glad for something good to take my mind off of it. I think I can sleep now. 😴
I hope you feel better, I hate getting headaches.
With that shoelace looking yarn you could probably make anything that you would with a t-shirt yarn, they have these cute little cat houses for kitty cats a pattern you could buy or make shopping bags😊
Great idea!!
Tape yarns make great tops, sweaters and cardigans, especially the all cotton ones. You can keep the stitches simple as the yarn itself creates the texture.
Great idea!
The tape type yarn makes nice summer sun hats. Bag o day has a tutorial on a hat that uses the tape yarn.
I would make some large grocery bags . Make baskets with that shoestring yarn or a pet bed
I've used the shoestring for a bag and it worked up well 😊 I was not a fan...a one time try...glad I tried it...but a good project... never bought again ❤
Glenda and Cody,I just love watching you.I have learned so much from you.
Very grateful for your post reminding us of the sale. My mom, who hasn’t used her knitting needles since the early 1970’s, saw some of the yarn on sale and was inspired to knit again 🥰 She picked out some I’m giving her for her birthday. So neat to get her into the fiber world again!
Nice haul, can’t wait to see what you make with all that shoe string yarn
So glad you shared your yarn haul 😄 can't wait to see what you made 😊
The ribbon yarn makes nice bags, hats, placemats.
Love seeing the yarns. Glad the bee keeps moving. I hope you have a wonderful night.
Thank you! You too!
Hi. Glenda, looking forward to seeing all the beautiful things you make .
Hi Glenda and Cody. I bet the white snow blanket is going to be beautiful. I was laughing when Cody kept unboxing that shoe lace yarn. This was fun. 🤓🤣
Hi Lisa :)
I have not used any of these yarns. Such beautiful Fall colors the Blues. Love seeing you both together. Thanks for the information on them.
Glenda.. maybe you slept shopped 😂
It’s a ribbon type yarn.. you can make rugs ,baskets ,bags ,cup cozies , and all sorts of things like that 😜
Maybe you should do a giveaway with some of it lol 😂
I actually love this type of yarns for those exact reasons I mentioned above 😛
I’ll take some of it off your hands since you can’t return 😜😋 I’ll purchase it 😀
Just let me know 🤭
I love the puzzle cotton yarn. I have it in a different color.. enough to make a cardigan with. Even though it’s hand wash.. I’ll throw in washer on delicate/hand wash setting 😉
💜🥰💜
The shoestring yarn- you could make baskets or handbags, bulky washcloths and or hand towels
So many ideas Thank You
HI GLENDA & CODY, SUCH BEAUTIFUL YARN. I NEVER TRIED THE RIBBON YARN.
Hi I'm new to your channel,I have not been crocheting for very long , I love it I can really relax while I crochet
I did the Uncommon Granny Afghan in the Puzzle yarn .I was very pleased.
Sounds like Cody has the yarn bug. He's ordering his own stash these days. Too much fun seeing the two of you together!!
Yeah i need to stop i am running out of room to keep it haha
Thank you for sharing your yarn haul with us.🥰
Cody, your 🐝 brought a Christmas friend today! ❤
The "shoelace" yarn I think has many uses. Baskets, protect bags, bath mat, cup cozy, mug rugs, placemats, slippers and pillows. That yarn would be fun to dye with food coloring. You could either do an ombre or have fun just splashing the project with a brush. Then soak in vinegar and dish soap and voila a fun day.
For that thin shoestring yarn, might make interesting purses, totes, or rugs, maybe? You might need to get a thin to medium cording to use as a foundation, then crochet around it... but I could see it making a cool rug. I can also see getting a wreath form and making a crochet wreath with the shoestring yarn. Maybe a Christmas Tree garland and tree rug?
A fun video, Yarns were pretty! and Cody is a hoot lol
The Pampa you got in abundance which is 100% cotton would be great for bath mats. Weren’t you recently looking for yarn for a bath mat? I am going to order some. ❤
I was thinking the same thing. Also, maybe some bags or even a small purse etc
That will make a beautiful bathroom mat.
I've been using quite a bit of Premier yarn lately. I think their yarn provides the best bang for a buck. Their non pilling is really so kind to your hands. I crochet for many hours at a time, and I find their yarn easy on my hands. No yarn burn. 😅
You two are very entertaining together
Glenda maybe you could make a pet bed out of that odd yarn and then give it to Laurie for the cats ?
Love seeing all your yarn purchases! The shoestring yarn is great for handbags, baskets, rugs and table runners.
Thank You for the ideas
Yes Jingerman with the bee.
You and Cody are pure joy…Cody has grown up so well since you two have been working together on film.
Hi Glenda and Cody. The shoe string yarn , I would use to make a basket. Perhaps double it and do a basket.
The shoe sting would make great placemats
That sounds like a great idea, now you have me thinking
It's great to know I'm not the only one to reordered colors I already have. Love your videos and so happy Cody has learned to crochet and help you out.
Love you and Cody. Great relationship. Can't wait till to what you do with the shoestring yarn
Thank You! :)
Great play mat or beach mat as well
Hi interesting shoe string yarn don't know if I have every seen it. Thank you for the video
Hi Glenda , it’s been a while since I’ve been here, but that shoelace yarn you can make baskets out of it or even purses
I love this yarn. I have been using it for a while.❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your review! I made a shrug sweater out of the premier mosaic zebra with a solid black trim and it is gorgeous!
Hi, guys & Buzz! And Buzz' friend with the Santa hat!
Maybe you could make a rug/bath mat type thing with that shoelace type yarn.
Or, how about a playmat for a baby, seeing as the colors are all pastels?
I missed the Premier summer sale... darn it! Went to call on 7/31, but sale ended 7/30 😿 My own fault!
I love your videos. Cody, you are alot of fun to watch, beside being a great crocheter & I always love you, too, Glenda ❤
Buzzy and Elfie! I have some Lion brand Hometown Anchorage Ice yarn very similar to your Zebra color. :)
I use a lot of their basix and have been really happy with the yarn
The "shoestring" yarn...clutch purses for spring would be nice in that or add a shoulder strap.
I'm thinking baskets with that shoestring yarn! You got some great yarns! I missed the sale, even though you told us about it. I love the batik!
We always look forward to seeing you Cody stay with your grandma.
That yarn is for like baskets, bags, maybe a rug, could try a wrap. Beautiful yarns love it great job, hey Cody.
Hi Glenda, I was thinking, maybe you could make baskets, purses, or carry bags when you go the farmers markets.
I had some of the Puzzle Cotton and I washed it cold on the eco cycle and dried on cool in the dryer. I never noticed any problem. I think most cotton acrylic blends can be washed on cold on handwashing cycle. I would only dry flat if blocking needed.🎉
You’ve got your work cut out for you with the “shoestring “ yarn! 😂
I guess the tube yarn could be used for similar projects as t-shirt yarn, things like bags, baskets, (floor) pillow or pouf covers, rugs etc
Hello Glenda and Cody 🌻🌻💖💖😊😊! I love seeing You Guy's & the Yarn Deals 💖💖💖😊!
Cody and his glasses lol
Hi Glenda and Cody. I enjoy your videos so much and look for a new one every evening. Thank you for your awesome videos!
I really enjoy your channel . 😊
The tee shirt yarn might be nice to crochet a snuggle bed or pad for animals at the shelter . Keep them cozy and comfortable .
Great idea, Glenda could give them to her sister for the rescue cats
Thats a good idea! :)
So many great ideas for this yarn Thank You
I’ve never used that “shoestring” yarn 🧶 but I think it would be good to make baskets with. If you have to double or triple it, you’ll be able to get through it faster. Those pastel colors would make nice baskets 🧺 for a baby room for toys or diapers.
Could make something like a bandana/kerchief? I think it would be cute.😊❤
You picked out some very pretty yarns. I can’t wait to see what you make with some. That ribbon type yarn would make a pretty basket or bag, maybe a rug. 🧶💜🙏🏻
I hear you, Glenda! Hard to control myself too when there are good sales. Taking risks with unknown yarns can be a hit or miss. You'll figure it out!
Thank you for showing all the yarns. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to purchase. I had to have emergency surgery to remove the gallbladder and just got back to work after 6 weeks at home recuperating. Hopefully, they will have another great sale again. You have a wonderful grandson. ❤
I am so sorry about your surgery, I hope you are feeling much better now.
@CreativeGrandma thank you. Just taking it day by day and learning to adjust my eating habits.
The shoe string, sometimes considered t-shirt or tape yarn. Have seen baskets, bags, and rugs made of t-shirt yarn. Also have seen a small child's dress made of a tape style, flat cotton yarn. Several other ideas, lacey beach coverup, coasters, place mats, trivets/hot pads, kitchen items that the thickness might be protective. Have fun with it 😊
I eyeballed that yarn too. The description was a bit misleading, but it was clearly a ribbon yarn bare minimum. I'd second the cover-up or a lacy sweater if it was a thinner ribbon.
Hello to you!! I’m so excited that I came across your channel!!! We have a new baby coming in November and I was looking for an afghan to make. When I saw the one that Cody made recently, I fell in love with it and am currently on row 16! Glenda, do you have any patterns for a baby sweater set with booties and a hat? I haven’t had a chance to check your Etsy shop yet so, thought I’d ask. I’m planning on making the Two Way Shell Stitch for another afghan and would like to find a sweater set that I can make with the same yarn. It doesn’t have to be a shell stitch for the sweater set. Thank you for sharing your experience and talent with us! My mother crocheted and she made me many things. I lost her when I was 15 years old. I’m 61 now and have such fond memories sitting by her as she worked the yarn. I’m definitely not a beginner, but having your instructions teaches me so much! I’m beyond appreciative of your work! When I crochet, I carry my precious mother with me in every stitch! God bless you and your family!❤❤❤
@MBroome1028 I do have a tutorial and pattern for a newborn hat and booties, and I have many baby blanket patterns, I just do not have a matching set. If you use the same yarn for the Hat booties and blanket I am sure it would work.
@@CreativeGrandma That’s what I thought, too! Thanks for the reply! I’ll go to your Etsy shop and look for the pattern!😘
Thanks to you I was able to get some great deals. Thanks for all you do. Love seeing you and Cody!!!
I made my granddaughters Easter baskets with ribbon yarn
I am making my two great-grandchildren throws with premier yarn.

Hmm, maybe baskets or tote bags.🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for sharing with us. I see Buzz at the top left of Cody's head along with what looks like a gingerbread man.🤗
Wishing you both a wonderful day 🤗💝
U should let Cody make something with that yarn that’s iffy I’m sure he would be up for the challenge..so good to see y’all..enjoying all the extra videos
Glenda, can't wait to see what you're going to make with your "shoestring" yarn!😂 Should be interesting!😉
Hi Glenda and Cody, love to watch you both when you show yarn and swatches even though I cannot buy the yarn over here. Best wishes from Germany.
Your shoelace yarns would make wonderful baskets. They could be great housewarming or Christmas gifts, and you could fill them with various items to suit the recipient. You can also use them around your house for towels blankets, bathroom items etc.
Make a summer top with that yarn. ❤
