Hi there, I bought the wrong dubbing thinking Antron can be used for dry flies. Instead of superfine dubbing. What makes superfine waterproof and can I still use Antron for dry flies? Please help... thank you.

Whether waterproof or not any dubbing will sink. It ALL has to be treated to float. A gel flotant is best, (Gink, Acquel) You also need a drying agent for when your flies are slimed. Otter is the best floating natural fur but hard to find. Beaver floats best among the commonly available furs but needs to be greased.
The shine of Antron is too strong for imitative flies. It's best used sparingly or in a mixture.
