Hell, most actual drivers across the board are just beautiful people and years of being in the circus has media trained them well as entertainers - they could just as well do supporting roles. Either way, doesn't matter if Brad drives or not - he might as well be The Stig or vice versa :D It's just cool to see the actors putting in some hard work! I am younger than most of the F1 grid atm and can't even go fast in go kart, it takes exceptional physical training to just not spin out on a turn in a singleseater let alone all the racecraft.
It's cool but also kind of baffling. Just having a stunt driver wearing the same helmet would easily do the job. Surely they didn't need to. Not complaining though. It's awesome

Been watching F1 since the early 90s and Martin is a great bloke both on and off the track and a true professional who never loses his child like enthusiasm for the sport. It goes without saying that his pit walkabouts are legendary and the respect he receives from those who matter speaks volumes about the professionalism, witticism and integrity of a great driver and commentator.
Martin needs to do his grid walk in the film and interview Sonny like an old friend. Even have flashbacks to them racing in the 90s with the other greats and have him commentating during the race parts.
It's class to see him so excited and kind of nervous talking to Martin. And finally, someone gives Brundle the respect he deserves, he actually knows who he is!

Martin needs to do his grid walk in the film and interview Sonny like an old friend. Even have flashbacks to them racing in the 90s with the other greats and have him commentating during the race parts.
