- Unlike the first section, this one comes with no relief for a full 9 verses. Getting bogged down with the flow for a month or more while writing the music was like getting stuck in a nightmare. But as it started to work out, there was almost a joy that began to come forth, even in expressing the great agony. The "man of sorrows" is after all also anointed with joy above his companions [Ps 45:6]

Never I had experienced the deepest feeling of this terrible agony our Lord (the Lamb) suffered, and so you have impressed in this great piece of unforgettable feeling music. At first I was listening casually and thought it was reminiscent of Johnny Cash but the music has a way of penetrating the brain all the way to the heart. what pain expressed by David, and how powerfully prophetic. I was moved with gratitude for what the Lamb of God experienced on my behalf.
