    The very beginning is incredibly beatiful in its simplicity. I love this sonata and I don't understand, why it is so underrated at all.

      well its between waldstein and and appassionata, even for beethoven was hard compose somthing better than those two sonatas

    When it comes to playing Beethoven sonatas in a truly Beethovenian style, Barenboim is absolutely Number 1, I have been listening to him for over 30 years, perfection..

    2nd mov is hard ,I can imagine,though I have not been tempted to try it.
