Excellent instructions. And man was that return spring difficult to get in without that tool. Managed to finally do it by actually raising the trigger out a bit, putting the return spring in a pair of pliers, setting the smaller part of the spring behind the trigger first and actually using the pliers to push down on the spring, which pushes the entire trigger down and then get a 2 mm punch in the whole, which I could then follow with the last pin.
Hello! What exact product is that safety on this gun? It seems wide, but the lever seems to locate only at the far end from the axle, not all the way from the axle to the farest point. I was about to grind off a pice from my wide safety to achieve that same result, but seems that there is a ready solution/product. My gun is CZ Shadow 2 OR.
i had serois problems removing the original hollow pin on my SP01. the end were simehow riveted and my 2mm punch was seriously bent after my first attempt extracting it without drilling it with a 1.9mm drill. nontheless the new trigger working now and works perfect. money spent well... a notice for the hollow pin would have been nice in the video.
I installed mine and was unable to use the pretravel adjustment. It screw was too long and would either eliminate double action of make the trigger not function entirely. I was very upset about this. I believe the set screw is too long. without it entirely it works fine. I just don't know why I spent the additional money for the option to adjust.
On my shadow 2 ( NEW) I’m not able to use the pre travel grub screw ? If I do it causes the double action not to work . Is this a tolerance issue ? or something else ???
I see that really all Shadow 2 Users have the problem with the spring. Not to build in just to use it. On one of my Shadow 2 it fits good but without pretravel screw. On the other one no chance i had to build in the original one. So maybe you can do there a explanation why? I'm not the only one who got this problems.
Hello , i d like to change the original trigger of my CZ sp01 shadow by this one . may i set up the pretravel course by unscrewed (or screwed ?) the screw already installed ? .....(i d like to a have a little bit more longer)..?? .....is the SA mode have less weight too ? .... Thx in advance.
Hi, aftertravel and pretravel screws are already installed, SA mode have the same weight like OEM. With screws you can adjust pretravel and aftertravel courses...
A slave pin can be used to trap the Trigger Return Spring in the Trigger. Then the Trigger can be positioned in the frame and the slave pin can be pushed out as you install the Trigger Pin. A slave pin can be fabricated out of different materials, i prefer to use a hollow metal tube of a suitable diameter and length.
@@Sydneywizard When I bought my full floating trigger pin & comp only CFW had it & they ship their pin with a slave pin or like I did it exactly the same way except once I had the trigger in with the pin started I just used the tip of my finger to compress the spring into place & pushed in the pin.
the part is OK, the video is cool but Shadow 2 users should have been alerted that the top grub screw is not just unnecessary but even incapacitating. I am a bit surprised as there is no doubt that the Shadow 2 presently outnumbers any other CZ gun in popularity.

hi, pretravel mostly need for shadow1, just remove it if your frame tolerance dont need it...

Hi, I installed it on my shadow 2 problem is , trigger does not reset for double action, already add pre travel but it just stuck up
Dave, remove front screw, you dont need it on your frame.
