I still vivdily remember the Parody transition scene from the Tiny Toons Halloween special so this Video is something that feels pretty personal to me despite never watching the series. Another Banger Horror countdown my good man.
Thanks a lot! Glad you dug it. And funny thing, during the intro where I mentioned Night Gallery being referenced and parodied, I actually wanted to include quick clips from both the Simpsons AND Tiny Toons parodies. But during editing, it just felt like there was only room for one of them, so I ultimately went with the Bart as Rod Serling clip.
Hey wassup Adorkable! Night Gallery Top 13! Niiiiice! 😁👍Perfect timing for Halloween too. You are making me want to revisit this classic series all over again and give a few of these segments another go. You have to love the 70's era horror, many familiar actors and Serling still doing his thing. Also great to see some love for Class of 99 and The Diary, which is one of the more overlooked Serling episodes. Wonderful vid man! 💯
Happy to hear you enjoyed it so much, FeverDreamland! Your own Night Gallery video from earlier this year was awesome too! Speaking of 70's era horror, I recently got the 1972 William Castle-produced anthology series Ghost Story/Circle of Fear on DVD and turns out it's a pretty good companion piece to Night Gallery. It unfortunately only lasted one season, but it has a lot of the same spooky storytelling charms, and I would definitely recommend any fan of anthologies of that era track it down.
@@TheAdorkableRJ Ah okay, very cool. Thanks, I'll check into it. Sounds like a good watch! Plus for our purposes, maybe doing a favorites list would be easier if it is only 1 season. When these shows go for 3 or 4 seasons or more, the vids can take a while, ha ha.
One of my favorite episodes was "There Aren't Any More MacBanes" - love Joel Grey in it. Another is Camera Obscura with Ross Martin and Rene Auberjonois -- wonderful stuff!
I don't know why I called Certain Shadows on the Wall ''short and sweet'' when it's about 23 minutes long. That's not the longest runtime of any segment from this show, but it's nowhere near the shortest. I guess my brain farted while I was writing that part.
Your second was my number 1. I also liked the ones with: green fingers; the cowboys in the waiting room; the sin eater and the one where the kid could see into the future and the future sucked.

The paintings are what we remember on the show.I remember when the sun ☀️ either, exploded,or became a star, because, people in the background were shouting, and upset.😢 A little kid 🧒 portrayed a newsman,as well.I think,🧐 this confused 😕 me as a fourth grader?

Great video, good job. The only bad thing is- and I hate to say this, but I think this is one instance when an A. I. doing the narration would actually be better, this guy's voice is full, monotonous, smarmy and condescending........... and also really sounds like nails on a chalkboard-very annoying & aggravating. But the video is great. It brings back memories of watching this show growing up. Thanks
Thanks for talking about night gallery I like thinking about this show.

Fun fact about There Are No More MacBanes; a pre-Star Wars Mark Hamill has a brief appearance in it.
