71 no prescriptions , the increase cost took all of my social security increase this year about 200 dollars a month . Next year it will probably do the same until social security is gone ,there should be a bounty on all our lawmakers
Medicare part D plans have gone up. My $54.00 plan jumped to $94.00. I had to drop to a $29.00 plan; that keeps $480 in my pocket to pay for the copays. Every year the companies switch drug tiers. There is no way to understand the few plans available in any zip code. The inflation reduction act made things worse.
No, it's actually better. Everything has went up, so capping at $2k is incredible. But, you could always get on the Health Care dot gov insurance plans.
My husband's maintenance chemo, to keep him in remission, (before he turned 65 and went on Medicare) had a monthly co-pay of $10,000. That's per month. we could afford it, barely. Since Medicare, zero.

yes, one of my medications has been dropped from coverage this year. It's only going to be a benefit for a few on expensive covered medications and the rest of us not meeting the cap will have to pay for these few people's meds
I'll applaud this out of pocket cap of $2000 if they made a deal with insurance not to increase the premium. Most of the people does not benefit from this, but made it worse. my part d from 47.00 to 82.00. My 35.00 SS pension increase just went to this premium increase. 🤕😤

Yeah, lot of people here don't realize how this Medicare plan cuts people's out-of-pocket. My Mom is saving hundreds per month. Her medicines are nearly $1100/month.

$2000 is still a lot of money.

@sherrieludwig508
$10000 is criminally obscene. I'm glad you could afford it, and I wish you and your husband good health.
@@Deb_BG thank you.

If the drug is not covered under the part D coverage than your out of pocket will not be applied toward that $2000 cap. 😡

Ridiculous health plans.
@@UncleDavesKitchenthey raised a medication my husband has taken for years to a higher tier.. so now the doctor will have to fine something else.

Joke Biden and other millionaires
Medicare enrollment ended in early December. So what is reviewing your plan going to accomplish you can’t change anything.
I only wanted to hear about Medicare. I don’t care about the periodic Norovirus that happens periodically.
Shouldn't have taken Biden for granted

Too little info, too late!!!
Anyone still evaluating Medicare plans? We’re all done for this year.
Which medicare? The private "medicare" or the federal government medicare?
Medicare Advantage isn't Medicare. IMO it's a scam.
The 2,000 dollar cap is on part D drugs. It doesn’t matter whether which type of Medicare you have.
There's only one 'Medicare'--government.
There’s only one Medicare.
Will I get more money for social security. Poor cleaning practices. Clean
Maybe they should clean the planes better
Don't let them take your home.
Yes, get in home help.

Are you disturbed.
By the way, the insulin cap was implemented by Trump.
