Since white's the most powerful gem/diamond and her powers are all about the mind, I think even after "dying" and becoming part of Steven, her old self is still there, or at least a fragment of what it used to be, ans since she's really powerful especially with conscience and mind stuff, it would make sense for something about her old self to have survived the process of creating Steven

However… that “reset” stuff. Really driving in that programmed gems kinda theory. I wonder if Steven will temporarily lose his Diamond Powers now, like how Steven (from the actual show) lost his after feeling bad cuz his powers “didn’t” heal Greg, or if it’s like self-imposed Rejuvenation.
