Yah I kind of noticed it on Clouds and Lost but here it is way more apparent
He’s releasing his album on Good Friday (Day that Jesus Christ died). This also ties into our ultimate “Hope”.

He’s fighting with his past. So much symbolism. Hope has waited 30 years for him to bring him out, and he never did so he pushed through. He’s fighting with himself. So much of his lyrics and mentions of other songs in this, reversing words that are more hopeful. So so so much symbolism.!!! Ugh! Love this.

Hope has been pushed to the back burner for the last 30 years (how old Nate is), and the other emotions told Hope that Nate is where he’s at because of him. Hope is fighting the Fear, and the other emotions (resembled by the “my album” back and forth”), for control of NFs mind (resembled by the Mansion). Also, Hope relives the past songs. Nate said “what’s your definition of success? I don’t trust this thing that beats inside my chest”. Hope revisited that in this song and gave his definition of success. Nate was looking for “the map to Hope” in the Search, and Hope has a map here. Fear is pointing in different directions trying to confuse Hope and make him even more LOST. We see the cart and balloons. We see Nate dressed in the all black, and black face paint from “Leave me alone”. We saw the old man that represented his dad in “Let you down” locked in a cage that’s made its appearances throughout. With Fear in control, Nate hadn’t forgiven his mother as he says in “How could you leave us” but with Hope he has forgiven her. The end battle shows Hope and Fear trying to take control of Nate, but this time Hope wins and we’ll see what Hope has to say and does on April 7th, Good Friday, when the rest of the album drops.

He is the personification of hope, and he's on the raft, in the middle of nowhere, because for 30 years he was left out, pushed away, held quiet. Now Hope is coming through. Breaking through all of the negative emotions that have had control for so long.
Yeah, he's not stranded on the raft; he has the oar he found in the snow in Lost. But also, he's Drifting. Both songs end in a similar style but this one is less ambiguous about where he's going from here.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SONG!! NF is my favorite artist even though I only discovered him last year. And this song was absolutely amazing, I loved everything about it and the music video too was top knotch. Idk if it's a top 10 song but if it's not, it's pretty close

In "Lost" (With Hopsin) he was "Lost" as he is in the Sea, but then he and hope find each other. (Also the Pad is something he also shows in "lost" where he digs it from the snow. :)

Hey brother….the old man in the cage isn’t his Dad…..it’s older him. In the video “let you down” everyone misses this. He is talking to himself in the video….how younger him disappointed older him. Go back and watch that video and play it till the very very end. You catch the phrase “Nathan” when his wife calls his name at the end. 😊 sadly a lot of people miss it and think it’s a song about parent/child relationships lmfao it much deeper of a meaning when you realize the true meaning to that song

It's different white tho! The old white cloths are plastic and sterile symbolizing medication and the status quo regarding dealing with mental health. The new materials are complex and allow for darker tones to come through, symbolizing his ability to carry his negative (nate), while also aiming higher to hope... these videos are truly movies and there are so many things to pick apart...
