Honestly, i don't know if that is better because don't know the difference between these trucks and i haven't been pumping before. I'm sure you'll find it out though!
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS Really Amsterdam to Brussels was a wonderful plan :) And now we want to try Amsterdam to Copenhague or to Basel seems to be a good option too. Good to know for Sweden ;)
I dunno bro, all the "problems" you mentioned are part of longboarding fun. I love longboarding trips and the everything that comes with it. I also keep spare wheels and tools with me.
This year i'm planning a trip in austria with a mate. We start in the alps and follow a river till we hit the danube. Let's hope it all works out as planned. What do you do if it rains, do you just walk?
Sounds awesome! How many kilometres are you planning on doing? I had a spare pair of bearings for rainy days but because it's so much effort, I couldn't be bothered taking them off, when the weather was good again😄 But I think it's the best solution if you don't want to walk. I didn't walk when it was raining because you'll get cold. I put on rain jacket and pants which was great but unfortunately all the rain from the wheels flick up on your legs and it runs down in your shoes. Definitely take some sort of shoe cover!!
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS alright, this is a great tip. We would like to go for ca. one week, and considering that we've never done a long distance longboard trip before we'll start with a ca. 250 km trip. If things go better than expected we can still ride along the Danube
@@tschabow5608 no worries :) sounds like a great plan! 250km sounds doable but it always depends on the hills, roads and weather of course. Safe travels!
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS yeah, that's true. As Austria is quite mountainous we decided to follow a river downstream so overall I hope we won't have to push too much uphill, as we are going through valley's most of the time
i want to travel doing hitchhikes and with my 27 inch longboard,i leave my longboard in house or is good idea take it for the cities and the foot travel
I think it's a pretty smart idea to take it for your travels. Might be handy for when you get dropped off at weird places with no chance of getting another ride. But I guess it depends on a lot of things. Very cool way to travel though. Should try it out myself! Let me know how it turned out for you :)
First few days i got my first longboard i ended up leaving my house in the morning and coming back in the evening, some days time will pass soo fast when riding that i forget to eat, longboard trips are the best but one thing i hate is when a hill going downwards doesnt have a hill going up to slow you down, that always messes me up
haha yeah, so true!! I had a couple really close calls on my trip because i underestimated hills. Lucky i didn't bail. That's one benefit of an electric longboard. you can break :)
take a electric board haha i did that with a friend of mine we went trough forests and all, just take multiple batteries or one big one and you can do 50+ k per charge
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS yes my koowheel does the same, but that one has swappable battery, and yes it was fun, people looking like its magic when you rush uphill faster than the cars go :D
Yeah, I'm still going on one, haha!
Haha because it's awesome 😁
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS Heck yeah!
You absolutely owned that trip..... much respect!!
Cheers mate :)
Yesterday I did 10 kilometers and now I'm wondering should I swap my reverse kingpin trucks for standard as have heard they are better for pumping.
Honestly, i don't know if that is better because don't know the difference between these trucks and i haven't been pumping before. I'm sure you'll find it out though!
If you take good places it's just a dream.
If you take bad places & roads it's a nightmare.
For ex go to Netherlands mate ;)
So true! I chose Sweden because of wild camping but always thought about the netherlands. Might be the best option for the next trip 😀

Hahah cool video.. why not mtb wheels for distances??
depends which road you take, i guess :)

The world is way more flat than your legs can handle.
Haha exactly! Thanks mate 😃

Sounds wicked! It really depends on the board though. On my electric longboard trip, one battery lasted somewhat between 10-15km.
