Amtrak's Adirondack returns its NYC to Montréal run & back in the 2nd quarter of 2023, according to published reports. I for one can't wait! In the meantime, I count on this channel for the lovely sights and sounds. Well, well done!❤❤❤

Montreal is elegant, sophisticated and unique city in North america.. just like New York ..we share the same architects, an island 10 times bigger than Manhathan, a central park designed by the same architect and some iconic landmarks and architecture. i am so bored to see only the Cn Tower ( Toronto ) as an image representing Canada . Toronto does not define Canada , Montreal is the real historical and cultural canadian city of 400 years and used to be the capital of Canada.

Absolutely...!, growing up I saw Canada in the TV through the just for laughs shows which was mainly shot in Montreal and after I got my smartphone or tab i started to watch UA-cam videos of mostly Anglo Canadian cities and I wondered where has the wonderful Canada I saw earlier gone but later i found the Canada i saw growing up was Quebec especially Montreal and what i watch today is typical north American post world War asphalt mess created by the dumb "suburban experiment" sponsored by ford and GM.

I will unfortunately be sleeping when it goes live (the problem with working night shifts) but I've already liked it, so I can view it as soon as I wake up! Love and respect to you Chris from Montmagny! ⚜️😉

The light is like a trade mark of the city. It's been on every night since the early 1960 and has 4X2500 watts each It can be seen from 58KM ( 36 miles ) It was off only on special occasions like the day of the planet and so on.

Ville Marie tower beacon is for planes passing through and onwards to the airport

The rotating light on top place Ville-Marie is a symbol. It serve no purpose, only decoration. It is not for signaling planes as some people think

The light is for the planes , if i am not mistaking its the highest point in Montreal.

it's unfortunate that there are so many short term rental restrictions on the West of the Island, so much history and nature to be explored, but no where to stay!

    Hi,
The light at the top of Place Ville Marie is to guide ET when he comes back here. He gets lost most of the time when he comes back to earth to get more reeses pieces. Why does he come back you ask? well.... I don't know but I think it's because the poutine taste better than reeses pieces. You should try it.
